*the lights go down. someone "ssshh!"s Eirtae loudly and throws popcorn at her head.*

[fade in]

[Eirtaé, Padmé, Sabé, and Yané are sitting together in the lounge.]

Eirtaé: Anymore excitement and I?m going to exile myself to Otah Gunga.

Padmé: Don?t worry. With Palpatine in charge of the Republic, nothing else will happen.

[fade out]

Five friends are returning to their normal lives...

[fade in]

[Rabé and Saché are in the gym, dressed in work out clothes and breathing heavily.]

Rabé: Don?t push yourself too hard. You nearly died during the Occupation.

Saché: I could do this before!

[fade out]

After the most terrifying experience of their lives, all they want is a little boredom...

[fade in]

[Eirtaé is studying a datapad.]

Eirtaé: I never thought I?d be glad to do paperwork.

[fade out]

and a little romance.

[fade in]

[Rabé and a dashing young man are laughing as they dash through the pouring rain.]

[fade to]

[Staven Denala is escorting Sabé up the Palace stairs]

Staven: I told you you?d have a good time.

[fade out]

But as it turns out...

[fade in]

[Panaka strides into the handmaiden?s lounge, his face grim.]

Panaka: Ladies...

voice over: it isn?t nearly over yet.

Panaka: We have a problem.

[cut to]

[the outside of a stately building. It explodes in a huge fireball.]

[cut to]

[Inside the handmaiden?s lounge, the doorbell chimes. Sabé opens the door and a bloody and bruised Staven falls into her arms.]

Sabé: Somebody help!

[cut to]

[Yané and Padmé are in the mediwing of the Palace.]

Yané: Will she be okay?

[cut to]

[the handmaiden?s suite.]

Saché: Yané, your mother is on the comm. She say?s it?s urgent.

[Yané dashes to the comm unit.]

[fade out]

Five girls, who have the responsibility of protecting their friend...

[fade in]

[Rabé is standing in front of Padmé and Panaka in Padme?s office.]

Padmé: Rabé, you will have to be the decoy.

[fade out]

at home...

[fade in]

[Panaka, Padmé, and the five handmaidens are all in Padme?s office.]

Panaka: The Diiran Raxt case has been reopened.

[cut to]

[Sabé and Saché]

Saché: This goes far deeper than we ever thought.

[fade out]

or among the stars...

[fade in]

[The Royal Starship shoots through space, heading towards a small planet.]

[fade out]

no matter what the cost.

[cut to]

[Sabé and Eirtaé are sprinting down a polished hallway.]

[cut to]

[The peaceful river of Theed is disrupted as two hover boats suddenly tear downstream. Close up on Rabé and Yané in one of the boats.]

[cut to]

[close up on Sabé, her face horrified.]

Sabé: Aiden!

[cut to]

[Eirtaé and a man are involved in fierce hand-to-hand combat. Eirtaé ducks to dodge a blow and comes back up holding a vibroknife.]

[cut to]

[Saché slams a power pack into her blaster.]

Saché: They?re going to have to come through us first.

[cut to]

[Sabé and Padmé]

Sabé: Padmé, I don?t trust you with this.

Padmé: I can?t let anyone else die!

[fade out]

Hey, cool! I'm hooked already. It's like AOTC, when the trailer first came out, I tried to force myself from watching it, knowing it would just hook me and make me want to see it so badly, and yet I fall to temptation and watch it anyway, then wait a painful several months. How many painful months do we have to wait for FFSB?

 

Wooooooooooohoooooooooooooo! Can't wait for that one, Eirtae!

 

Eirtaé, that was fabulous! How exciting! I can't wait for the sequel now.

 

Thank you all. How many months, Bobill? Er, well... Writing the trailer really has been good for me, encouraging me to write. I'm going to try to find a beta, too. It shouldn't be too many months...

What a marvellous story you told. It unfolded beautifully and artfully and continued to develop the Fab Five into interesting and believable characters. You earned every nomination you received, my dear. But your welcome, regardless. I am very glad you made it past the nomination rounds... but what happens now? When do we vote? Or what? Do you know?

And that trailer!!! How cool! I just read one from Knight Ander the other day, and now you have one too! What a great trend! Your trailer was exciting and dramatic. I could visualize it perfectly, even adding in my own ideas of close-ups and whatnot. Obviously your talent for writing isn't just for long and gorgeously detailed stories!!

I am eager to see the next story, but I promise to be patient. However, I would love a PM when you do begin posting it. Darth Real Life has made my life too busy to go trolling for more stories in the fan fcition forum, so I rarely go there... I just try to keep track of my favorite story-tellers' and fellow RHS-ers' stories (and I am truly behind in my reading, obviously!).

I enjoyed your ending, it was delightful and joyous, fitting for our heroines after they have been through so much. Sabé's birthday speech was a nice closing on the story. And what a gorgeous setting for their picnic. Did you base it on the picnic setting for AotC? Or was that me and my sillé imagination?

Sigh. A nice ending to a delightful and exciting story. You gave us strong female characters but allowed them to remain youthful and girlish, a delicate balance to keep with their handmaiden duties and required at-work behavior. Be proud of yourself for this great tapestry of a story you have woven. It is truly a colorful, imaginative joy to know and read.
