    Hi all,

    For those who are unaware there is a Sci-fi Convention taking place in Hobart in May

    Dates are the 15th to the 17th

    It will be at Wrest Point

    WoW! I would have loved to go to that one, but I really don't need an excuse to visit Hobart again, I would go anyway if I had the $$$$$ I loved it!!! Would be good if this was a great Success, we could aim for it next year! :D

    They had about 3000 people through the door last year.

    There's a bunch of 501st planning on heading down from the mainland for this year and I know of at least one R2 builder coming from Sydney.

    Should be fun

    Damn!! I'd love to come....maybe if you give me the date for next year as soon as you know, I can plan it! Would love to bring my kids back there, my daughter was only 4 last visit and my son only 8 months! They would love the place.

    I'll ask the people running the event when they plan to have it on next year.

    When I was talking to them on the weekend they said they were already committed for next year.
