I have exams on Tuesday wednesday Thursday and then Monday 9th of June is my last one.

THEN I'M OFF TAHR HUNTING IN THE SOUTHERN ALPS - YIPIEE!!!

Bought myself a new camera - $1177 bucks later - so new toy must play with - no time for study.

 

Good luck, SFL. Having been and done all tertiary exams years ago, I relish the comfortable role of not envying you.

What sorta camera did you get?

 

I hear you SFL, my exams are in about 4 weeks, so i've got more time to panic and procrastinate over them.

However they are (hopefully) my second to last set of uni exams -yeah!

 

Sat my first exam of the semester yesterday (Control Technology). Think pretty much aced (no pun intended) it!

Got Operating Systems practical exam and Software Enginneering theory exam next week.

Week after, Op Systems theory exam and two presentations to deliver (blah blah blah) and CT mini-project to hand in.

Roll on 20th of June.

Yea, I love it - can't stop playing with it. Took a few pics of the same thing in differnet modes today - interested to see how they come out.

I'm currently looking at getting a computer - that will have scanner etc in the package deal - so yea I'll post some more random SFL pics with tahr way up in the mountains on cliffs etc.

 

I've got three exams this year at 9:15 on Saturday mornings! I didn't even know there was a 9:15 on Saturday morning.

Still, I'm trying not to think about it until I get my compsci assignments out of the way, which are currently taking up just about every spare moment.

Maths
Physics

our practise ones are in the 3rd term and our proper ones are in the 4th

Im having real trouble with maths a physics because of all the algbra and formulas required mum payed for some study guide thingys for me i had one for my maths last year and it really helped so hopefully they will help out and i will improve

also on fridays this term i go to the SIT for a introduction to electrical skills its real good and will help me get into a course or apprentiship next year. Today we made extension cords which is good cause you can never have two many of them.

I have 4 exams this year , three are in the last week, the last one also on saturday morning. The first one is in about two weeks.

 

Exams start tomorrow afternoon for me. Then Wed afternoon and Thur afternoon. Then 3day weekend for Ecology on Monday afternoon.

Right, exams are over. All went averagely ok - felt good - so yay.

heh, i got to write many thousands of words by early july, i've done the research, mostly, but havn't done squat writing as yet
and that is begining to freak me out

 

Yay!! Another semester has ended. 3 weeks off and then back into it.

Two semesters to go and I'll be a Bachelor (even tho' I'm married. Go figure)

 

Feels good to have a break huh Roff!

 

Probably spend the first few days wandering around looking for assignments to do before my brain slows down.

Although I'm planning on slowing my brain down a bit tonight!

Yea - Going away into the hills for a few days after exams is a fantastic way to clear the head. Now a week and a half of nothing is a nice feeling. Might make a journey up north to see my grandmother for a few days next week - other than that I have JACK planned.

 

Damn all you people who have finished...I still have two weeks to go, it sucks that Canterbury is behind everyone else.

Oh well had better just grind thru the study...always good to come here and procrastinate for a while though (like right now!)

i was in waimate today, had to go to the funeral of one of the guys who died in that microlight crash, damm that was sad

 

oh True. Yea - that and the several scientists in the plane crash at chch airport - tragic

 

Well, I couldn't wait a few more days to get my results in the mail. Rang the parents and got mum to ring an 0900 number to find out.

I passed all my papers - so happy.

Time table seems good. Finish at 11:30 on a friday - 2.5 day weekends Start at 12:40 on Thurs - nice sleep in day.
