Just randomly- Dymocks in Collins St has 20% everything this week, so it's a good time to get Star Wars books- I ordered in 'Betrayal' for $40. SW hardcovers are $50 now, but they were still $40 when 'The Unifying Force' came out...what's with the $10 price jump?

Nice - might have to drop by and have a look, maybe buy some.

JB Hi-Fi have some good deals going at the thier DVD/Home Enterainment store on Elizabeth/Latrobe Sts. Managed to get seasons 1-8 of Stargate SG-1 for under $400.00

I'm sure they won't mind if you pop out for halfa Jess...

Kla. **** Kla. I'd shoot myself if I found myself sitting down watching seasons 1-8 of stargate. Watching the entire series of The Sopranos or Buffy/Angel I could do easily because these shows are actually quite intellectually interesting - but as much as I love stargate, I reckon its a bit of a joke at the best of times. I mean, Teal'C, what a legend, but really, how many times do we need to hear him say 'Indeed' with the raising of the brow?

    But, each to their own!

My god. I saw Kla. WHOA.

And I saw TBM getting all mushy with his loved one yesterday at uni. We are in abudance.

    Hello folks. How've ya been?
I have to tell you about this weird dream I had last night - so i hooked up with a group of people and we were going to hike from south Australia to north - I even saw the map in my dream and it looked like we were going to go from Perth to Port Hedland - but I must have been thinking it was really Melbourne to Townsville 'cause I wanted to dive on the reef - weird huh?
That's what I get for having bourbon and Twiglets before bed!

God no man!! I'm still there until semester 1 next year... my arts course is longer than usual due to my diploma in modern languages course... and i'm only doing 3 subjects a semester this year, so I still have three more next sem. Hence i'll be a fifth year arts student!!! AND I wouldn't have it any other way.

That's... umm... words fail me. You could pay off Liberia's deficit with that collection, LV. :p

That explains things, JE. For some reason I thought you'd finished. Good work on being a 5th year Arts student. I thought it couldn't be done! I, on the other hand, can only claim to be doing a Latte course (a major in Cultural Studies :p )

'Cultural Studies' - wtf. Haha. How flexible is that, I mean, in your honours year, if I were doing cultural studies say, I'd do a few journeys on the frankston line from carrum downes to kananook and engage in intellectual conversation with our human brethren that happen to inhabit these particular stoppages and assess their stances on the arts. The art of skipping a fun kin met inspector. HUh huh? Allez Milk. I'm off to a place that sells it down south.

Bizarrely enough, I actually work for the MET now. Before you all run away, I only count people. That's right, I get paid almost $20 an hour to count people at stations. With a clicky thing. Yeah.

It's flexible, well paid and allows for the listening of music, reading of books or the doing of essay reading. It's quite possibly the best student job I could hope for.
