    Oh, lovely.

MAIN CHARACTERS HERE go to RANDOM PLANET HERE and DO THIS. They fight crime and Seperatists.

Seriously, why Felucia? Why? It's a Separatist planet! Why is spice being farmed there? Why are Jedi generals bothering with a farmer when there's a war on?

I'll be surprised if they can give a good reason, but why bother calling it Felucia? If it's a budget issue, change a bit of the background and call it a different name!

I agree that the plot does seem convoluted. I have nothing against it being set on Felucia, though. Since it's a contested planet, it makes sense that they would be battling above it and be shot down. I also don't have anything against the Jedi helping out a bunch of farmers in the middle of a war. Jedi are compassionate, defenders of peace, not warriors. It would be out of character for them to refuse help just because they have a more important battle to attend to.

What bothers me is the convenience that they happen to crash land in the right place and at the right time to meet these farmers and protect them just as they are about to be attacked.

Jedi are duty-bound to fight disorder and injustice wherever they find it; I'll be very surprised if one of the characters (Anakin or Ahsoka probably) don't echo your views, SergeantDante, that they have 'bigger fish to fry', only for one of the other characters (Ahsoka or Obi-Wan) to remind them that they are Jedi first, soldiers second.

I think we shouldn't judge the episode too soon. On "Jedi Crash", they had to walk some kilometers to find a populated village. Maybe it will be similar to this. Even if it is like you said, that doesn't make it that improbable at all.

Hmm, yeah, I agree with Gry and Kualan here. That's a good point on Jedi as protectors and I hope it's in the episode.
At any rate, this episode (from what I've heard about it so far) sounds awesome on paper to me. You've got Jedi, bounty hunters (well, to their credit they're trying to be different), and PIRATES. I really liked Hondo Ohnaka, after all. XD

Episode sounds pedestrian on paper to me, but with my newfound positive attitude, I'm going to assume that this episode is going to be awesome!

Maybe you'd better assume it's going to be pedestrian. Low expectations are a key element in being pleased.

    Someone has misunderstood Koonfan's teachings.
Remember: High expecations lead to disappointment, disappointment leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate to suffering. Both cgi and doll version available.

This is directed by Steward Lee, same guy that directed Senate Spy, Legacy of Terror and Brain Invaders.

    Probably a good sign.

So, a prequel to Holocron Heist? Or a standalone? I'd like to see this episode end with a Republic relief force coming in, and the CIS arrives at the same time,

I wouldn't call it a prequel to anything.

This reminds me sooooo much of the Eight For Aduba-3 arc from the Marvel comics series. The BEST Star wars EU there is! [face_beatup]

    I have teachings? I'd better get those on a T-Shirt, then! [face_laugh]
But yeah, basically, don't keep your expectations too high but always look out for the good stuff. That's my motto. :p
What I'm wondering at this time, actually, is what sorts of voices they're going to give the bounty hunters.
Sure, their new character voices are largely hit-or-miss, but I'm interested in seeing if Embo is completely silent, has weird alien effects, or has a kickass raspy voice. XD
