The three latest Countdown issues are the three worst comics ever published at any time in history.

Never forget that for as many times as DC fumbles, Marvel will do so five times over that single DC instance.

I'd agree with you, but if you look at the sales figures Marvel is beating DC almost every time.

    No.

One More Day was pretty bad, but at least it's led to Brand New Day, which is excellent. Even if nothing remotely important in Brand New Day needed One More Day in order to happen. Also, while the plot was somewhat worse than something a three year old could write while drunk, stoned and suffering from... from... something bad, the art and writing were decent.

The art in Countdown is passable. Beyond that...

"Brand New Day", like "One More Day", both manages to suck and blow at the same time. "Countdown To Final Crisis" trumps it.

Also, "Flash: Rogues Revenge" has been renamed "Final Crisis: Rogues Revenge". It will also become three oversized issues, rather than six issues.

Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins speak.

While I refuse to get BND on principle, I've heard it was good, and it almost certainly couldn't be as bad as the last few CD issues. But thats neither here nor there.

I must say, the thought of Morrison and Johns teaming up Batman and Robin style to create this years epic story is an erection inducing thought. Now they just have to find a way to get Waid and Rucka involved as well.

There sounds to be a LOT of nifty concepts coming out of the whole "Final Crisis" situation. I mean, we've got this blockbuster-sounding Superman/Legion crossover, the Flash story, and I'm also looking forward to Keith Giffin's "Reign in Hell". Civil war... in Hell! DC mystic heroes choosing sides for Hades leader contenders! :D

They didn't specify, I think they're just feeling the character out (and probably aren't aware there's more than one...I wasn't ;) ), but I'll narrow the field down to the trades I see are in-stock at Diamond currently:

    -Kicking Assassins
    -Destructions Daughter
    -Fists of Fury
    -Robin/Batgirl Fresh Blood
    -Death Wish
    -Ghost Batgirl Resurrection Engine

Thats the second Batgirl, Cassandra Cain. They're good, but you also want to pick up the No Man's Land story arc before hand. Which is five trades.

Of course to understand that you'd want to get Cataclysm.

And to understand that you'd want to get Contagion and Legacy

Sweet Lucifer there were a lot of Bat-events.

Yep. Though as we know, Darksied is in "Final Crisis". So what happened might've been the final catalyist for what is to come.
