OOC: Gah! I really hate this all.... we'll work with another x2 Payday again.

IC: The Lord of the Nazgul
    Location: Outside Foroth

The Lord of the Nazgul watched the dark walls of Foroth, now gleaming with torchlight. The time for the assualt was upon the army. Tonight much blood would be spilled. Throughout the day, many of his generals had encamped with him on the top of his perch, discussing tactics and strategems with the Black Captain as he considered the necessary tactics needed to take down the city. They had all come to a satisfying conclusion, and were ready to start the battle.

So when 10:37 came around, the forces began moving. The Witch King didn't care much for the triumphant flare of his Master in Mordor, who, by the way, was extremely happy about something. Setting that aside for a later day, the forces of Angmar did not start with a trumpet sound of what have you. Rather they began their march silently, like ghosts drifting through the snowfall.

Each group had their orders. The battering ram squadron was to bolt to the gates, and establish a continuing set-up of attacks, with each of the four rams hitting in turn. With them working as such, the gate should be down in no-time.

As for the four siege towers, they had already been repositioned under the cover of darkness, and they too were to make a bolt to the gates. The sooner all of the forces got out under those trebuchets' minimum ranges, the better they all would be. The towers were ordered not to stop under any circumstances, until they got to the gate.

The remaining open Infantry and Northern Orc Divisions would serve as escorts for the towers and battering rams, taking up the slack should any of the operators got picked off by Archer fire. When a breach was opened, they would redirect themselves to commence the infiltration.

The Witch King and Barrow Wight would hold their own for the time being, observing the battle. When the gates fell though, they would be sure to join in the attack.

    IC: Nargold and Malachi
    Location: Moria

"This is ridiculous!" Nargold roared, unhappy at the amount of time his army had spent waiting in Moria. "They shall no longer make a fool of my tribe!"

Had Malachi eyes, he would have rolled them at the creatures angry display.

"Yessss." he said in return. "It issss time anyway. Carn Dum also grows impatient, and has dispatched an army to aid our troopsssssss here. We shall isssssssue our ultimatum, call for a sssssscribe."

"Scribe!!!" Nargold bellowed. A thin looking orc entered a few moments later.

    "Take note." Malachi said sternly.

To the Orc Lord of Moria Nargoth,

Lord of Khazad Dum, we have now made many requests now for compensation for our services here in guarding your home, all to be met with no avail. The Red Tower grows tired of your difficulty, and has ordered us to deliever an ultimatum. Deliever us a reward for what is rightfully ours, equivalent to the displacement fees our nation has suffered in defending your homeland. Should this request not be answered within seven days, the nation of Angmar shall be forced to take action to repossess a fair compensation for our troubles. And be advised that should our troops be met resistance, we will compensate our losses in that aspect as well.

    You have one week.

    GM Note

Believe me, I would like to continue this, but we really only have about four players. It had a good run, and I hope one day to come back with a sequel that has all the kinks worked out. The major issue being travelling. But I think I can come up with a system to improve on that.

OOC: If you do a sequel of this I can assure you that I would join, this was a fun game and it is too bad that the inactivity of some GM's killed it.

Darnit...I was looking forward to building the gloriously powerful uber Umbar fleet to rule the seas! Ah well. Sorry about my inactivity towards the end of the game, Jango, you did a good job GMing for what it's worth.
