Hey all! Sithy here. This Music forum has been around for a while since it's creation a while back, but I've never gotten to really recognize or get to know the regular posters here. While I recognize a few like Mar17swgrl (or something, you always have the Anakin icon), or GasGabbie, I'd still like to get to know all of you!
So, come on in, put your favorite track of music on the jukebox over in the corner, and talk about nothing!

\\pops in the ANH CD and plays Cantina Band #1\\

To start off conversations, what music didja listen to today? I listened to the Christian radio station that I usually listen to here in the Chicago area, then I popped in FOTR CD while doing homework!

I'm Mastadge. I like Conan the Barbarian, Cutthroat Island, StarGate, and Shadows of the Empire...music that is. Cutthroat Island is an awful movie that would've been better with half the budget. But I digress. Hoohah!

    Hey Mastadge
    Who did Cutthoat Island?
I assume from what you say it is good but I have no recollection of the music at all!

John Debney. None of his other work so far even NEARLY lives up to it, but he's doing the score for The Scorpion King (which unfortunately soundtrack will not be published), so I have some hope.

I've never quite got it, is The Scorpion King the prequel to The Mummy?

Yeah, the scorpion king is in ancient egypt I guess when the Rock comes to power. It's apparently so bad they had to go back and do 6 millions dollars of reshoots. And I don't know why the score isn't being released; it should.

So, uh, this IS the prequel to The Mummy?

BTW, did the trailer for The Scorpion King seem at all like Star Wars? They talk about how "I thought we wiped them out years ago." "They are the few remaining of an ancient race of supreme warriors" (or something like that).

I mean, c'mon, can we say Obi-Wan in ANH? Sheeeeesh...

The Scorpion King trailer didn't seem that much like SW.
Oh, and if you didn't see my name over my picture, I'm Ameia Skywalker. ;)

Hey Ameia (hope I spelled that right. :D ), you new to the Music Forum? I don't remember seeing you 'round these parts before.

Well, no, the Scorpion King trailer isn't TOTALLY like SW I guess, it just reminded me of SW the minute I saw it.... Of course, lots of things do. :D :D

lol, that Cantina band #1 song is getting a bit worn on TEH JUKEBOX, if any of you feel like putting something else on, be my guest. :D
