    IC: Allynic Sitan
Location: Above Saridona Prime in a Dynamic-class freighter

Allynic Sitan opened his eyes and blinked away the grogginess as he felt the old freighter jolt out of lightspeed. The starlines slowed down and then came to an abrupt stop as space cleared around them. He sat up quickly to assess the situation. He saw a Nebula-class and a Gladiator-class star destroyer in the general vacinaty.

"Oh Boy," Sitan said. He turned to Kahlifa.
"Where are we Kahlifa? Did we come out of hyperspace to early?"

Allynic reached out to the Force to pick up some sign of the intent of the star destroyers and was met with a calm feeling of assurance.
He observed two freighters heading in his direction. Allynic attempted to open a communication with the Star Destroyer that had the name "Redemption" painted on the hull, and awaited a reply.

Dovey had to work extremely hard not to grab her hand out of Hochner’s but to let him gently place it on his chest. The only ones she had had any contact with for longer than she cared to think about had been her sister, Miria and Voj, although that had been accidental. He was being gentle and she felt very grateful for that.

As her palm met his chest, she felt his heartbeat. A weird thing happened that she wasn’t totally expecting. Her mind began to merge his force signature with his heartbeat. She thought through it and decided that it would be a good way to recognize him next time. She wondered if she’d be able to do this with others should her sight not return soon. “Thank-you Hochner. With your help things might not be so bad after all.”

Once she was able to get over her immediate situation she told her sister of what she would find when they got to the Ancient Haven.

“What do you know about your…” But Josch’s thought was interrupted by a tingling in the Force. “Do you feel that? A sense of being pulled in? We’re nearing the Ruins. But there’s something else…”

Before she could answer Josch’s answer about knowing anything about her ascendant Kasha felt a tingle in the Force causing her to look towards the cockpit. She kept getting this distinct feeling they were being contacted. She could sense something pulling her in making her wonder if they were closing in on their destination. Josch grabbed her attention again before she had a chance to say anything. She nodded in agreement. The call to the ruins was strong.

“I’m sorry to cut our chat short, Jedi Sherland, but I think I am needed in the cockpit. Will you accompany me?”

Kasha gave a short nod as she stood up and followed Josch out into the cockpit. She had this strong urge to talk with Tehanis, she could sense the woman was still brewing from having to show Mekaila the fighter.

Kasha shook her head as she entered the cockpit.

“Now we can figure out what is going on here.”

“Figure what is going on here?” Kasha repeated as she turned her attention to Daniel. “Did someone contact us a few minutes ago?”

She resisted, he could feel the tauntness of her muscles through his gloved hand, but yet she gave, by breath and motion. Slowly her hand moved, slowly it came, it was stiff, but it did not actively pull back, pull away, nor dodge him. Then as it rested upon his chest and finally there was nothing left to resist, he waited, breathing, and heart beating. Closing his own eyes for a moment he listened and felt the force, that ember the crackled within him, and within it his own awareness of everything around them.

As she spoke he let the ember spark and glisten with her words, and then slowly opened his eyes behind his goggles, letting them filter the world around him into a fashion he could see and withstand. "If I ever can help, you can find me." he added gently before letting her go about, whatever it was she had to do.

    IC: Ian Thrace
TCC, Temple of Light, Saridona Prime

Ian listened as Ms. Sandstrider had taken charge of the situation and attempted to defuse it. But neither ship appeared willing to stand down, though at least they hadn't started blasting away at each other yet. It seemed as though no one was willing to take the word of a padawan leaner, despite the fact that he had been here longer and knew more about what was going on then they did. Though it had pained him, he had vouched for Taab and the ship he had brought with him. But no one seemed to care about that.

"That's all I can do for now. We have to wait on Danny and the Masters now."

Ian sighed. With so many new and itchy trigger fingers being brought to the Temple he wondered what the bigger threat would be. Would it come from any Sith out there looking for them or would it come from within? Ian had to trust that the Grandmaster knew what he was doing, but Ian was beginning to have his doubts. That thought frightened him more than any other since he had come here. What if the Grandmaster really didn't know what he was doing?

He returned to the tactical display. Maybe keeping busy would prevent him from dwelling on such matters. The two ships continued to face each other down but from what he could tell the smaller of the two was powering down its shields. At that moment another ship decanted from hyper-space, right in between the two Star Destroyers. "Oh no. Not again."

But neither the ships in orbit nor Ms. Sandstrider seemed to consider it a threat. Instead the new ship launched a pair of smaller craft to escort it down to the Temple. These Ian recognized. They were the craft that the Mandalorians had departed the Temple in on their secret mission. The first of the pair was emitting a Temple IFF code, while the second was Taab's J-1 shuttle. Ian was almost afraid to ask where the bounty hunter had aquired a Jedi ship. No scratch that, he was too afraid to ask. He hoped they hadn't brought any other mandalorian back with them. Maybe they had even lost a few along the way. It wouldn't pain Ian at all to never have to see Seanna Vel or Ryi Kor'le ever again.

Throughout this, Ms. Sandstrider had kept in contact with the Redemption before she sat down in one of the workstations. She appeared exhausted...or stressed. Despite her being unable to totally convince the Redemption that he was right, he was grateful that she had taken charge of the TCC. He knew the Redemption never would have listened to him alone. Still watching events unfold at the tactical display he said to her. "Ms. Sandstrider. Thank you."

    Alec Vandel
    Saridona Prime, Outside Ancient Haven

When you're on the run, it's kind of difficult to take the time to view the numerous worlds that the galaxy has to offer when you have bounty hunters and Sith looking for your head to lop it off. Sightseeing, obviously, was out of the question. Even when Alec rejoined the Order, his time was occupied with catching up on lost studies and liberating what the Sith had shackled. Ossus and Coruscant had both been battlegrounds which he took part in and when they had been said and done, he had been paired with his second Master and sent to watch over Veragi.

Saridona Prime was really the first world that Alec had a chance to simply view and take it in. Upon exiting the Ancient Haven, the young Jedi was once again hit by the cold that he had experienced shortly before. Despite the chill that wanted to slip beneath his hood and robes, he barely took note of it.

The terrain is mostly made up of snowcapped mountains and forests, he thought, remembering what he read on the console back at the library of the Temple of Light. But its the winter season right now, if the temperature is any indication, even with the mountain ranges being so close.

Alec stepped down to the bottom of the ramp and it was only when his boots crunched into the snow that he stopped. Though his breath fogged the air in front of him, he took a look around. Once you got passed the metal hulk of the Ancient Haven, there was nothing but snow and forest with the mountain range towering over all. Somewhere inbetween were the ruins that they had barely glimpsed before retreating.

It was...quiet. Bringing up the texts that he had read, Alec reminded himself that there had been no other sentient, indigenous species that had been thriving on Saridona Prime. The lands that Alec viewed were lands that had yet to be "tamed", to be bent by the will of others. The Temple of Light was probably the only mark of any artificial interference to the natural world. It was...nice. This would be the first time that Alec had ever set foot on such a world that didn't possess any kind of scarring. And yet it held so many secrets like the ruins that they were sent to investigate.

And the ruins are proof that despite what it may seem, there may be others that have been at work other then the Guardians. Whether malicious or not, we're going to find out.

The thought of business put the sightseeing to an end. Though he had said that he wanted to step outside for air, to look for threats, and to meet up with Master Decinchi, he also came here to work. Granted, what he wanted to do could've easily been done on the ship but Alec thought he would feel more comfortable out here.

Dipping a hand within his robes, Alec unclipped one of the severed halves of his double-blade and held it in front of him. There were a lot of Jedi that put a lot of customizations to their weapon - whether from trinkets to having the entire hilt be a tooth of an animal - but Alec had chosen a rather plane, silver hilt in his constructions. A part of the reason could be because, when Alec first created his lightsaber, it was when he rejoined the Order on Ossus and was finally allowed to construct a weapon that would be used in the war that was still raging. Time to personalize his weapon was not only unnecessary but nonexistent.

But he had started with one lightsaber, his first, which was now held in his hand. Which was now ruined. The damage to the power field conductor had compromised the rest of the weapon, making it useless at best and dangerous at worst. Even if he was somehow able to link it with its partner, the lightsaber would still be no good to him.

There's still something I want to check.

Having been silently rolling over the hilt in his hand, allowing his fingers to trace along its shiny surface, Alec now stretched out his fingers and held his palm flat. With a simple exertion of the Force, the lightsaber hilt stood up, raised a centimeter from his flesh, and hovered there.

Within the grip of the Force, Alec was able to see every link, every crack, and every part of his lightsaber and how everything melded together so naturally just as it did when he first constructed it. The construction of such a weapon was one of the milestones in a Jedi's life, when he was finally able to create a weapon that would allow him to better defend the innocent from the wicked. Despite its appearance as a saber, its application was more like that of a shield.

With its glowing blade, the lightsaber was a symbol of the light that drove away the darkness.

And, upon focusing on one of the cracks, upon drawing the Force towards this weak point, the lightsaber shattered above his hand.

The flawless melding of the parts that allowed the construction of the weapon was also the key for its destruction. While the silver, external casing came apart, it revealed the insides that were breaking up as well. The remains of the power field conductor, the power cell, vortex ring, the crystal chamber, cycling field energizers, all of them came apart in an instant. Alec didn't bother to catch them, watching unflinchingly as the shattered bits of metal and wiring dropped from air, fell past his extended hand, and disappearing within the snow.

He did, however, keep two pieces of the lightsaber floating above his hand. They were the core to the construction of the lightsaber: the crystals. However, only one of the crystals was a green adegan crystal, taken from the stores of the Hidden Temple so that Alec may construct his lightsaber. Being the power source that manipulated the energies to give the blade its form and color, Alec could see that the damage to the power field conductor had compromised the crystal.

Without a second thought, Alec cast aside the crystal and now there was only one.

The second crystal was not an adegan crystal and it was only that one that Alec allowed to float back down so that it rested on the palm of his hand. More orange in color, the crystal was perfectly round. More importantly, it was undamaged. At that diagnosis, Alec let out a breath that he couldn't even remember holding.

It was a kasha; a crystal that was commonly found in the hands of Cereans that were used for meditation. On his thirteenth birthday, his Master Yima had given it to him as a form of meditation tool. There was very little else you can do on the run so Alec had spent most of his time meditating and fine-tuning his control over the Force. The kasha had been very helpful at that and while Alec carried no personal effects of his own, he continued to hold onto the crystal that his Master gave him.

Though kashas could be used to power lightsabers, this one had not been used as such in Alec's lightsaber. Rather, it had its own little compartment that kept it separate from the rest of the internals. Though not part of the actual workings of the weapon, the kasha was always where Alec could reach out to it with his thoughts just as how his hand could reach out to the hilt itself.

His fingers folding along the kasha, Alec was at first settled with feeling its smooth surface. Soon, however, he reached out with his thoughts.

Saridona Prime opened up around him. As soon as he touched the kasha and began his meditation, his mind cleared and his Force senses expanded. The surrounding area was swept up in his gaze immediately and Alec could detect the Force signatures of the others. Dovey, Hochner, Michael, even Gaan who had apparently exited the ship without Alec knowing.

But he stretched on, his mind expanding through the area, into the forests, towards the mountains, and even attempting to reach out towards where he had seen the ruins, wanting to take this moment to investigate them through the Force. He even tried to reach out and pinpoint the approaching Decinchi. At this moment, there was nothing in his mind except Saridona Prime, his thoughts and senses blending with the surrounding area, merging easily into the natural order of the planet.

This deep in his meditations, as has happened numerous times before, he felt a developing lightness. Though his eyes were currently closed, his mind focused everywhere at once, he was nonetheless aware that his feet were currently floating a few inches from the ground, freeing his booted feet from the snow and keeping them suspending over the icy covering. This clear in his meditation, the Force flowed through him like a conduit, surrounding and embracing him to the point where it lifted him up.

No, he was never one for bladework which was probably why it had been a mistake to go for the double-blade. As could be plainly seen, his first and foremost ally was the Force.

In orbit around the planet Saridona Prime, aboard her Dynamic class freighter

Khalifa couldn't catch a break. She thought with the discovery of her new companion of Allynic Sitan, who might have info on her long history of her family, that things were looking up for her. But she should've learned by now nothing in her life had been easy. From the moment her mother had been killed she'd been on the run and taking care of herself.

Once they had left the orbit of Rhen Var she felt this pull to a planet that was calling her. Turns out this planet was Saridona Prime the home of the Guardians of Light academy. And of course there were two Star Destroyers sitting there waiting.

"Where are we Kahlifa? Did we come out of hyperspace to early?"

"Well this is the location the navi computer gave me. Then again this hunk of junk is so old it would make the Millennium Falcon of old look brand new. Besides if you look closely those guns aren't pointed at us anyway."

She pressed a button on the control board and a a red light came up. She thought, hopefully, that she could make contact with one of the cruisers to ask for safe passage, or at least find out what was going on.

"Gladiator-class star destroyer this is Dynamic cruiser Heartseeker asking for clearance into orbit around the planet", she said. She leaned back in the pilot's chair and looked over at Sitan. "Let's hope my guess is correct and they aren't hostile, otherwise we'll have to high tail it out of here."

"Yea it looks we are safe for the time being. Hopefully they are willing to talk before taking any action. I'm not picking up anything dangerous in the Force. Just...a lot of tension," Allynic said, after a moment of contemplation. "I guess we don't really have a choice at this juncture in time. If we want to find the Guardians of Light, we will have to take a few risks. If we were skilled enough to figure all this out, we wouldn't need the training the GoL could offer."

Allynic impatiently waitied for a response from the unidentified party that blocked their path. He glanced around the small cockpit he and Khalifa were in. It was still taking Allynic some level of composure to deal with his current case of clostrophobia. Ever since spending a few lifetimes in carbonite he was having a hard time being cooped up on the smaller freighter. The walls were so close and with each passing moment they seemed to be closing in, constricting his lungs. His hands were shaking uncontrollably as he tried to steady himself. He attempted to shake off tension building inside him and realized he was sweating.

Allynic calmed his breathing and and opened himself up to the Force. He desperatly needed to find the Guardians and hoped Saridona Prime was there final stop. He knew only through guidance from a Jedi Master could he overcome this current hurdle that lay before him.

The two Star Destroyers still loomed outside the viewport, and even though the two of them weren't getting hostile feelings from them the still made her unsteady. Her stomach made a noise and she realized she hadn't eaten since finding Sitan, so she got up and went over to the kitchenette she installed outside the cockpit. "You want anything Sitan?" She looked over to see the Caamassi with his eyes closed in a meditative state so she just poured herself a cup of caf for herself and sat back down.

Allynic slowly opened his eyes, coming out of his meditative state. He turned to see Khalifa sitting next to him, sipping a cup of caf.

"You're right," he replied. "We didn't have very much time to get to know each other. It seems like we have been non-stop since we met. As you know, I'm Allynic Sitan. Though it probably sounds crazy, I was born just a couple decades before the Clone Wars. I was captured shortly after by a powerful Sith Lord named Palpatine, then frozen until you rescued me!"

Allynic glanced through the viewport, wondering why the Star Destroyers had made no attempt to contact them yet. Probably a test...to see how long we remain patient. He thought to himself.

"How about yourself?" Allynic asked. "I'll admit I am still adjusting from the Carbonite Sickness. My vision is pretty good now, but I still have some severe muscle fatigue. I ran through several of my healing techniques, but am hoping someone with the Guardians of Light will be able to assist me. I'm also having some issues with claustrophobia, but I'm guessing that's normal. I'm hoping the Guardians will be able to help me with that as well. Why do you seek the Guardians of Light, Khalifa?"

Allynic studied Khalifa as he waited for a response and contemplated getting himself a cup of caf as well.

    IC: Darth Ardeur
    Aboard Dark Renewal

The atmosphere on the bridge quickly shifted in Ardeur's senses when the Munn disappeared and another useless human was somehow liquified. Ardeur really wasn't bothered by this display, but she was impressed. Ardeur could have at any moment destroyed the majority of the beings on the bridge by drinking in their life force however this destruction seemed so much more satisfying despite the high she received from her abilities.

"I believe talk will do me well." He said finally addressing her. She pivoted as he walked past her obviously leading the way towards her room.

"As to your little 'Insipid' comment, you refer to this," he waved his hands, and, popping into existence, was a Holocron. "It's not, actually," said Dreadwar. "Whatever it is, I cannot confirm, but it is not the real Holocron of my old foe, Darth Gorog, from the Infinite Sith Empire. A shame, really. Insipid left it with my Master before he escaped."

She recoiled from the object that appeared in his hand. Ardeur's senses were overloaded with things from the past, painful things and should couldn't help the shudder.

"Get that object away from me." She commanded when her voice was no longer shaky. "Or there will be no discussion."

"So, you are probably sampling your history. I have the powers that were rediscovered by your Darth Vectivus, by Darth Nihilus, by others. They were powers they divined from sources left behind by me, millennia ago. You have touched some of them, and I can offer you the rest. In exchange for you allowing me to anchor a portion of my soul to yours, much as Insipid did without your consent... which is why it ultimately proved his undoing."

"You seem to be under the impression that you have something to offer me. While the display on the bridge was entertaining I grow tired of this life and I'm not sure I am the one you want to anchor a portion of your soul to. How smart it is to anchor your soul to someone with a death wish."

She smirked. "Insipid did it because he knew that at the time I'd survive. No matter what, my abilities gave me an edge at survival. Plus, Insipid did not always know how to play politics. He had grand ideas and was successful at carrying several of them out, but reality caught up with him. I no longer have that desire to stay alive. The Sith of old were wrong...immortality in any form should not be the ultimate goal."

"So if you intend to anchor your soul to me you'd better come up with a really good reason for me to change my mind about survival. I was sent on this mission by the Sith leaders that have always feared me to die. I spent the trip out here welcoming that."

She walked around and caressed her lightsaber as she got closer. "So tell me, why should I bother to live?"

"Nebula-class star destroyer this is Dynamic cruiser Heartseeker asking for clearance into orbit around the planet"

The old-Destroyer’s crew looked at each-other curiously. Hadn’t the other freighters already started to escort the ancient ship down to the surface? Looking out the view-port, the other freighters were awkwardly floating next to the Old-Republic ship that hadn’t moved yet.

“I thought they were already heading down to the surface?” Arrica asked no-one in particular.

“Evidently not…do you want us to send a message to them ma’am?” one of the bridge crew asked.

Arrica nodded and walked over to the comm panel, “You have permission to enter the atmosphere Heartseeker. Follow the other freighters down.”

He looked down at his datapad where Navi had sent him a message regarding the situation in orbit and then turned his attention to Daniel. “Captain, please inform the Redemption that the other star destroyer is the carrier for our new Temple Security Force, the Journeymen Knights.” Josch then looked over at Adalia. “Colonel, please let the Shadow Raptors know that once they are properly relieved by Journeymen forces on the ground they may return to aerial coverage with the rest of their squadron.”

As they delivered their respective messages, Josch also sent one to Voj explaining that he could send down ground crews and that those Journeymen on the Defender were going to be under the command of the Redemption.

Once all that had been accomplished he looked out the forward view and saw a slight glint out in the snow, “Ah, we have reached our destination. Touchdown over there so we can help our friends out.”

Unnecessary Force, Orbit of Saridona Prime

Taab had allowed both Patches and Curves to hitch a ride with him down to the planet's surface. He couldn't blame them for wanting to avoid the "situation" aboard Bucko's ship, the Marauder. Kyramud though had expressed an interest in staying with Bucko and Cyar'ika. To each their own Taab thought.

He piloted his shuttle behind and to the right in an abreviated echelon formation, allowing the Marauder to take the lead. Throughout this he listened to the rather dubious exploits of Patches. Taab had heard alot of this sort of bluster before. It usually came from either grizzled old veterans, such as himself, embelishing long forgotten actions for sheer enjoyment, or from rear echelon types who had never seen action and wouldn't know the front end of a blaster if it were pointed at their head. From the way he carried himself, Taab suspected it was the former with regards to Patches, and while Taab barely listened, it seemed that Curves hung on every word.

As he followed the Marauder he looked out at the new freighter. It was an old ugly thing, but Taab could see the potential in it. The ship looked tough, always a good trait in a bounty hunting vessel. It seemed its occupants had taken no notice of their new escorts, but with two Star Destroyers lurking about Taab couldn't blame them for ignoring another old freighter and a shuttle. It didn't look like the freighter, the Heartseeker if its identity codes could be trusted, was looking to cause any trouble. Maybe it was delivering more jettise to the Temple. Taab would be glad for that, it would earn him more of a bonus.

That got thinking about the role of the Journeyman in all of this. If allowed to stay by Spoonbender they would make a powerful addition to the Temple's defenses. But where would they, and now he, fit into the command structure? Before he was a simple independent contracter in charge of no one but himself and Ace. With her gone, and the addition of so many troops he began to consider if he was truly needed here any longer. He shook his head. It didn't matter. He had a contract to fulfill and he would do so even if he remained outside of the chain of command for the Guardians and the Journeyman.

As they approached the Heartseeker, Taab pulled the Unnecessary Force off formation for a moment allowing the old freighter to take his position in the group. He then settled his own ship back and to the right of her. The entire formation then angled down and started to follow the Marauder to the surface. He listened now to Patches regaling he and Curves about the tactical capabilities of the x-55 War droid. He smiled. His ship was carrying enough weapons to re-equip the Temple's armory, the Heartseeker indicated that possibly more Jedi were joining and now there were two Star Destroyers deployed in orbit to help keep the Temple safe and deliver reinforcements. Everything was going well for this job.

With that thought Taab's smile faded. It was times like this, when everything was going well that things usually turned to complete osik. And fast. The nexu smile returned once again. Good, he would hate if if things got too boring.

Kasha glanced at Josch as he gave instructions to relay to the temple. She could sense that Miria was worried about someone close to her. She had a feeling this person was at the ruins. It’s almost like they couldn’t get there fast enough. She placed a hand on Miria’s shoulder and gave a light squeeze for reassurance.

Kasha sat down in a seat and strapped herself in. Sometimes words were never enough.

After he had sent a message to the Redemption Daniel noticed the glint out in the snow. It looked like another ship. And this was confirmed with the next thing that his old friend said, “Ah, we have reached our destination. Touchdown over there so we can help our friends out.”

Daniel nodded, and gently set his ship on a landing vector. Soon enough, the old Corellian freighter had touched down at its destination. It seemed that there was a small group waiting for them though. After shutting down the engines, Daniel stood up and lead the way to the exit hatch.

“After you Masters…it’s better that they see someone they know.”

“Colonel, please let the Shadow Raptors know that once they are properly relieved by Journeymen forces on the ground they may return to aerial coverage with the rest of their squadron.”

Adalia turned and gave Josch and curt nod of acknowledgement before securing a channel to her XO. "Raptor two, you're relieved, back up has arrived. Resume aerial coverage with the others, Vixen out." She closed the channel Josch spoke again.

“Ah, we have reached our destination. Touchdown over there so we can help our friends out.”

She helped Daniel with minor things and they put the craft down, shutting the engines down as he stood and said as he made his way to the exit.

“After you Masters…it’s better that they see someone they know.” Adalia, ever cautious, checked her blasters charge and stood, running her hand over her leg as she went to confirm her vibro blade was still in place. This was all just the way she operated, she was sure there was no danger, but she was never un prepared for it...

    Alec Vandel
    Saridona Prime, Outside Ancient Haven

An anomaly in the natural order of Saridona Prime brought Alec's attention to the sky. It wasn't hard to figure out what it was; the engines and the repulsorlifts that caused the air to shift unnaturally, the large hulk of metal that cast a shadow over everything beneath it...and the life signatures that were smack dab in the middle of it.

It was only then that Alec finally pulled out of his meditation, his senses and thoughts coming back together as they pulled away from Saridona Prime and back into his own mortal shell. He became reacquainted with the cold immediately as the elements of the world assaulted him and a sudden crunch of snow beneath his boots told him that, having pulled away from the Force's embrace, he was no longer being lifted by it. The young Jedi took it all in stride though and looked up towards the sky for the real matter at hand: a Corellian freighter that now flew overhead.

Must be Master Decinchi, Alec assumed. Remembering the other life signatures he had felt on board, he added to the thought with, And help.

His eyes watching the vessel, it was only when it started its descent that Alec moved to meet it but not before sending out a pulse through the Force that was directed back at the Ancient Haven; a notification to the others to inform them that help had arrived. Hopefully it would assure them just as it did him; it meant that Gaan and Dovey would be getting help soon.

As he approached the freighter, a sudden thought had Alec bring his hand up to the hood of his cloak and pull it down. Though Decinchi - and whatever help he brought - knew that they were out here, there were a lot of strange going-ons that have occurred on Saridona Prime. Facial recognition would probably help prevent any initial hesitation or suspicion rather then keeping his face hidden in the shadows. It meant that the full force of the planet's winter temperature was now hitting his exposed head but he hardly flinched at it.

By the time the freighter had settled upon its landing gear and the ramp lowered, Alec was already there to greet the party. Bowing his head towards the first pair of silhouettes, Alec greeted, "Master Decinchi."

Not just him either as Master Lahana was part of this little party that ended with three other individuals - two women and a man, all human, none of whom Alec recognized but assumed were Guardians.

I guess she recovered from the event just like the rest of us, Alec thought with pleasant surprise. Or at least it certainly seemed like it; Miria didn't seem to be seeing with any difficulties.

Remembering who was affected though, Alec quickly got down to business. "Dovey has lost her sight. There's been no change last I saw her. Gaan has lost her memories but it doesn't seem like anything major. She has forgotten everything since arriving on Saridona Prime but before that her memory seems mostly intact. Again, no change when I last saw her."

He tilted his head back towards the way they came. "Everything else is back on the ship. If you'll follow me..."

Unless there was any matter which Decinchi or anyone else would bring up, Alec would turn his back to them and start retracing his steps back to the Ancient Haven, knowing that there was hardly any time for delay to get the others the help they needed.

The cold was really starting to get to Gaan, and she was seriously considering reentering the ship when she felt Alec's communication. Well, the Grand Master was here.... Now if only she could remember exactly when and what their last contact had been, she might be able to figure out how to act. Sighing, she pushed off the ship, stumbling at first as she started to move around to the other side. She paused as soon as she could see the ramp of the other ship, and those standing there. Watching closely, she saw that Alec was speaking, and assumed he was giving the newcomers an update on the status of the group at the Ancient Haven. She would follow them if and when they moved, but, for now, she felt like keeping out of sight.

Aboard the Heartseeker, Saridona Prime orbit

"How about yourself?" Allynic asked. "I'll admit I am still adjusting from the Carbonite Sickness. My vision is pretty good now, but I still have some severe muscle fatigue. I ran through several of my healing techniques, but am hoping someone with the Guardians of Light will be able to assist me. I'm also having some issues with claustrophobia, but I'm guessing that's normal. I'm hoping the Guardians will be able to help me with that as well. Why do you seek the Guardians of Light, Khalifa?"

"Well basically I've been alone in my life since I was 12 and besides if you look at my name, Sunrider, the Force runs in my family almost as strong as the Skywalkers."

As they were talking a squad of freighters came into sight. "Wow", Khalifa thought, "They are sending an escort for us how cute". Then a response finally came on the comm board from her earlier transmission for entrance into the atmosphere.

“You have permission to enter the atmosphere Heartseeker. Follow the other freighters down.”

Khalifa looked over at Sitan and said, "In the famous words of the great Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, we are taking our first step into a larger world."

She grabbed the control yoke and brought the ship in a loop around into formation behind the freighters coming at her.

Marauder, modified YT-1930x dropship, Enroute to Saridona Prime

After leaving the Defender, Voj sent Jaxon down into the modified F-LER with the intention of him flying over to the now identified Heartseeker, docking with them, and helping them down to the Temple. But then the Nebula piped up and gave the old freighter permission to head down to the surface. Part of him wanted to call up whoever was issuing the orders over there and give them a piece of his mind. But then a message started scrolling across his display that caused him to stop.

“Hey, Leianna, check this out.” He said pointing to what amounted as his first orders from the Grand Master.

    Voj,

I know you are not going to be happy to hear this, but I am putting the Defender under the command of the Redemption. Your people will still operate their own vessel and will maintain their current chain of command with the addition of the Redemption’s commander being the head of the fleet.

Also, I am requesting that you land your ground based elements to set up a defensive perimeter around the Temple. Your people will be relieving a group of six TwinTails from Shadow Raptor squadron. I am officially employing the Journeymen Knights as the Temple Security Force for the Guardians of Light. I would like you to coordinate with Sergeant Taab, who will still remain in the position of head of Security.

Once I have finished with our mission to Ruins I would like to take some time to discuss you finally embracing your destiny… becoming a Jedi Peacekeeper.

    -Josch

Voj did not know how to feel about it, and then he became even more confused when Leianna added her opinion. “I think he’s right.” Voj’s jaw fell right to the deck. “Voj, I have been with you since we were kids and you know as well as I do that all the Journeymen have been doing is playing Jedi without the Council or government backing.” Voj started to protest and Leianna pressed her finger to his lips. “I know you are going to say that the Journeymen’s views on the Force differ from that of the Jedi, but didn’t you tell me that Josch had a similar view on it in the past? Things change, and from what you have told me about this group they are not your typical Jedi Order either.”

Voj just heaved a sigh and turned back to the ships controls without saying a word. He watched as the Heartseeker snap rolled into formation behind and to the left of him. He opened up a channel to the newcomer, “Alright Hotshot, follow me in and keep it to the numbers.”

A few moments later they were on their final approach to the Temple of Light. Voj looked over at the sensors and noted that their two Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transports were just entering Saridona Prime’s atmosphere. They would follow standard deployment protocols and land on opposite sides of the Temple to establish a perimeter.

One at a time, the Marauder, the Heartseeker, and the Unnecessary Force landed inside the same hanger that held an aging YT-1300 and a TwinTail fighter. Neither one of the respective ships owner were anywhere to be found and Voj did not recall them being there before. Finally the three of disembarked from the Marauder and awaited Taab, Pythos, Seanna, and the new arrivals.

    "Ms. Sandstrider. Thank you."

Lenea tiredly waved her hand, with a small grin, “No problem. It’s what I’m here for, at least when Danny isn’t around.”

Of course, that didn’t mean she particularly liked having to take command like that. She preferred being just the head engineer. That was where her (not inconsiderable) strengths were. But it didn’t mean she couldn’t take command, just that it was way more stress than Lenea liked.

Either way though, it wasn’t over yet, as with a slight groan of discomfort, she got to her feet again.

“In any case…should we head to the hanger and meet up with our ‘friends’?”

Unnecessary Force, on Temple approach, Saridona Prime

Taab had to admit to himself, Patches did tell one shabla good story. Taab didn't believe more than a third of it, but it was highly entertaining. Watching the Heartseeker and the Marauder, Taab also saw a pair of old troop transports on his sensors coming in behind them, from the Defender. It seemed the reinforcements that Taab thought would be coming were already on their way down. It would be good to have a proper security element for the Temple, they could use the extra manpower. And while these Journeyman weren't real Mandalorians to Taab's mind, they were close enough.

He settled the Unnecessary Force down in the hanger bay and took note of the new ships. After landing, he and his passengers disembarked, taking up a spot near where Bucko, Cyar'ika and Kyramud stood waiting. Taab pointed to the other pair of new ships. "Looks like Spoonbender has been recruiting." He looked out past the hanger bay doors now. The Journeyman's transports should be dropping off their troops right about now. Setting up a perimeter around the Temple no doubt. It is what Taab would do anyway. He called out again to Bucko. "Once your men have secured the perimeter, chop a couple to me and we can get the weapons unloaded and re-stock the armory." Now he turned a wary T-Visor towards the Heartseeker, wondering who its occupants were and what they would bring to his bottom line.
