Aaaaaaaand that's it folks, voting is now officially closed. I will be tallying the votes when I get the chance, but right now...sleep!

 

Lies

 

DRL sadly prevents me from posting the results until this Sunday, folks. Until then, place bets accordingly, knowing full well the RPF mod squad takes a cut of all winnings.

 

You know, the Ramza Book of Rules has precisely three sayings:
1. Never challenge a Sicilian when death is on the line
2. There is no such thing as "too postmodern"
3. Never bet against Winged in the RPF Awards

Soooooo.... no, not taking that bet.

 

The answer to that Sinre is I am neither crazy nor stupid... so NO!

 

I got no idea who wins what this time around, which makes it actually very interesting. Usually I predicted the wins beforehand. Best RPer, Best Game Design will be tough competitions. BestRPer I would like to give to five of those nominated. And that´s only who I played with!
But I bet Mass Effect Ashen wins something Well, it deserves an award. So troubled, yet still so entertaining. Has any game ever before survived the changes of GMs?

Will we actually have one or two winners per category?

Anyway, I don´t bet against Winged. Although we have some serious contenders. And Fin was right with such a broad field the votes could spread a lot among the competitors. But I cannot join more games

 

xaviers school (basically an x-men world game) survived changing GMs. early on actually, and in an unplanned fashion.

 

Ah, I did not know. I think it was before my time around here. Well, then it is obviously possible.

 

I am half tempted to take that bet, because it is basically a no lose situation for me.

 

I was already at my limit when Licence to Clone got launched, but I cannot not play a Dubya-run 007 game; so I'm afraid those stakes are too rich for me too.

Congratulations are in order to all the winners! My apologies in the slight delay on this one, as well - DRL can take a swipe at us every now and then.

As far as the statistics of the awards go...I'm happy. [face_happy] There was a massive turnout this season, and it far exceeded my initial expectations - there were thirty-odd voters this time around! A few little things - again, don't alter the ballot, as it induces headaches, and don't continue to nominate those who have already been nominated! [face_tongue]

Colors and titles shall be awarded for those who have won them, and all you Star Awards winners should feel free to display those wins in your signature. It's not required but hey, it lets people know. [face_happy]

And finally, you folks who voted for your own selves - I wag my finger at your collective selves. [face_tongue]

Congrats to all! A lot of winners, but it were a lot of candidates And thanks for all the votes for me and ToRR. I am humbled by catching an Award so early and I will try my best to life up to it! I probably should add, that spiritually I share my Best Game Design award with Fin and LordT whose revision probably were the key to any quality people attribute to the ToRR opening.
