Makes me think of Jeff Gordon's win at Talladega on Sunday. You know he has an Episode III motif painted on his Monte Carlo (Yoda's on the hood). Even though Tony Stewart was quoted as saying, "The only way I would have beat him (Gordon) was if I had two extra cylinders."

If Tony was a SW addict he would have said of Jeff, "The force is strong with this one."

Our Classified director said today that the Spokesman is putting out a special secion tomorrow about Star Wars enthusiasts in Spokane! hmm... he said there's a dude in a stormtrooper outfit on the front... This isn't us is it??? and If so, how come none of us knew about it! Anyone know anything about this???

Jaurus, don't they know that you are a member of the fan force? If so, imho, I think that it is a bit rude to ignore the Spokane chapter of the OFFICIAL STAR WARS FAN CLUB.

Well, I work at the Press in Cd'A, not the Spokesman, and yeah, everyone here knows I'm a Star Wars nut... heh, hard to hide it when I come to work with T-shirts that say "Han Shot First"

I'm just wondering if a Spokesman reporter talked to someone in the group, and we just didn't hear about it... hmm...

Oh, also Cheeser, if we want to get technical, the Fan Force is not officially part of the Official star wars fan club, while individual members may be part of the official club, the Fan Force as a whole is a Fan run "unofficial" fan club... as in, Lucas does not directly support us, rather, we're more closely affiliated with theforce.net, also, Fan Forces have more of a sense of community than HYPERSPACE...

 

Oh. I thought I read somewhere that tfn was owned by Lucas and that the Fan Forces were official local extensions of the Star Wars Fan Club.
