The present discussion concerns the pruning of threads to free up space on the board's server, not because some people don't like some threads and want to get rid of them (unless I missed something somewhere).

 

Well, that's debatable...

But right now the server space problem is actually being worked on, and it looks to me like this policy won't be needed.

 

That would be cool. I think it has good intentions, but is not the right way to solve the server space problem.

 

Uggh, I avoid this thread for a few days and come back even more confused. I have no clue what the official policy has become...the sanctuary thread is still open.

The new policy is as follows:


1. All People with Darth or Jedi in their username have 72 hours to finish their business. After 72 hours, the names will be deleted, and all people who register new names using those words will be IP Banned, tracked down and beaten in the street in front of friends and family.

2. Threads more than 60 days old will be destroyed by having BoB post in them.
