My mom's church has pancakes on Shrove Tuesday every year for as long as I can remember. I look forward to this day for months before and it is one of my favorite days of the year.

Tonight I walked in and found in place of my precious pancakes was Cajun food.  I tried to complain but everyone dismissed my concerns and told me to eat some jambalaya.

    :_|

I can't tell you how sad this has made me, I may be scarred for life. :_|

I'm sorry I just had to share with people who might understand my feelings! Tell me I'm not alone!

    But...but...jambalaya is heavenly!

I had both today. I am full of good food and happy.

Cajun food would be good any other day of the year, but in this situation, I have to agree with Nat and Jag4Me.

I object! There is no proof! This is incredible. We recommend a commission be sent to your mom's church to ascertain the truth.
