[TV] True Blood-HBO

I am so addicted to this show.

Here is the plot...The series follows Sookie Stackhouse, a barmaid living in Louisiana who can read people's minds, and how her life is turned upside down when the Vampire Bill, walks into her place of employment two years after vampires 'came out of the coffin' on national television.


It is unfortunately on HBO, however it is so WORTH getting HBO for. I was very leary thinking oh great ANOTHER vampire show. this got me hooked with-in 15 minutes.

I am not sure if many of you have HBO or can watch this, but if you do I am curious to your take on this show.

I rewatched both of them last nite so Rebecca could see it...i wasn't sure what she would think...she was HOOKED!

 

We are used to watching HBO shows on DVD, so waiting for the next show is a problem.......

 

I went to the panel for this at Comic-Con, it looked great, all the stars and creators of the show were there.

But no HBO here, so i'll see it when it comes out on DVD.

 

I honestly started watching because Anna Paquin is the star.

I will say that waiting IS hard...I love Netflix for that one reason. However, I cannot wait a year to watch it is THAT good.

 

It was weird seeing and hearing her at the panel, she was so........grown up.

 

Yeah, no HBO here, either. Waiting for when it shows up on teh Netflix.

 

i looked up her age before i watched the show...i just was like isn't she like 19? She is 26. crazy.

 

Me and Anissa have been watchin it and of course we are hooked,her more then me
I think she wants to a vampire....

 

OMG!!! Love this show!

 

i hear ya sister!!!!! oh it is killing me that i have to wait!!!

i wish i could figure a way to record it off my TiVo. hmmmmmm

 

Anna Paquin, eh? Did you know she's Canadian, too? I still love Fly Away Home, it was such a great movie. May have to check this out when the DVDs come out. Or someone burns them.

i am so spoiled by DVDs now...dang it. ok patience IS a virtue. I am wondering how many episodes a season will be. I know HBO is a little shorter than network TV.

 

I know we are too all the other HBO series we rent so we can see the next episode right away, and right now our HBO is free, but I'm not sure for how long...........oh I'll be so sad.

 

is it sad that i am thinking about rewatching last nite's episode? hehehe i have two weeks of stargate atlantis to catch up on.

ooh dang it i totally restarted it...hahaha

I think Sam is a wearwolf..or something...barking while he was sleeping???

 

We thought he was that dog at first, but then he was playing with it, so that blew that one out of the water. There is something up with him and the dog though.....weird...

 

i did the same thing...and then i was like oh well i guess that isn't it...maybe he is like the beastmaster. ha ha

 

sooooo...now is your chance to catch up.

Saturday they are having all three episodes on. I would HIGHLY recommend getting HBO even if it is just for a month or two. that is how good this show is.

and then you can watch entourage as well.

 

Ok what was up with Sam sniffing the covers??? yeah you are wearing gloves, but rolling around in it your DNA is going to be EVERYWHERE!

 

I know that Catz and I are the only ones posting in here...so Courtney.

I totally think that Sam is communicating with the dog. I really really liked the history part of things...showing Bill's past and where he came from and how he came to be a vampire. it was a really good episode...then again they ALL are.

I am scared we are almost done with the aeason already!!!
