Ooooh, nice match. Big Boss has taken down people with supernatural abilities before, but nothing really on the scale of this wraith. Hmmmmm... I gotta say Raziel's just a tad too much for the grizzled vet, even prepared. It would be a helluva fight, and Jack is one tough SOB, but even after pummeling him with mines, rockets and maybe even a healthy dose of CQC ( ), I think he'll find himself on the wrong end of that Soul Reaver before it's all said and done.

Good job, anyways, Jack. I'm proud of you.

Yeah, Verg could last a while using Devil Trigger and actually give Kratos a fight for a while, but he's probably best off using the extra speed he gets from DT to run for his life. He wouldn't, though. He's far too badass for that. He'll go down fighting. This is the man who, battered and beaten by Dante, still charged at Mundus like an O.G.

first, I'm not searching this thread for that gigantor post you made about him. Second, I'm not gonna read it, and because of that, I'm not arguing anything, I'll just let the judges do this one. But I definitely don't think scrap metal.

 

Fei piloting the gear Weltall, Rico piloting Stier and Elly piloting Vierge. Any one of those gears would beat Mega Man and Zero, and Grahf scrapped 'em all without the use of a gear. Well, technically speaking, he only trashed Fei and Rico's gear. He wouldn't fight Elly for... reasons that would take way too long to explain here. It's one of those battles you find in most RPGs where you face off against the big baddie early on in the game, and they show you just how woefully out of your league you are at that point. You get thrashed, but it's not a game over if you lose. That type of battle.

The gears at that point weren't peak with all the best upgrades, and they certainly weren't Omnigears, but any gear in that game, at any point, is >> Mega Man or Zero.

To compare this to, say, a match in the Jedi Draft, this is like Darth Vader vs. Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee. It's a well-respected and very cohesive trump, but they've just bumped into someone out of their league.
