I vote IHOP cause I hungry....No, I would like for everyone to be comfortable and we won't have to worry about weather issues. Plus we can go do somehting else after if everyone is up for it.

I'm still not sure if we will make it but I would vote for IHOP... but I also vote for a mid-afternoon time instead of a lunch or dinner time. It gets really expensive when you are bringing your kids too...

 

Since the library doesn't open until 1pm on Sundays...

Howzabout 2pm Sunday at the library, and then hit IHOP right after...around 3-ish?

That brings up a good point...

Since the SCFF is rather small, and we're not exactly building orbital death ray guns and organizing mass experiments with cloning...

Why not expand? We all have different interests.

I don't think I know a single person down here that *just* likes SW. Fan groups aren't meant to be treated as secretive cults (unless of course, you're in a Cthulhu one). Why not have a general sci-fi geek meeting, with part of it dedicated to FF stuff (to count as our "official" meeting, and parts dedicated to other things?

Seriously -- if I showed up to meetings for all the things I do, every single weekend would be dead, not to mention every 3rd Thursday, 2nd Friday, and 3rd Friday. And I'm sure other people would want more info on other groups, too, without having to comb through a dozen web sites to stay on top of things.

For example -- SG-14 tour of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NORAD) next month. Deadline for signing up is May 25, but the list is pretty much full. I bet only 2 or 3 people knew about that. And we've never had a Trekkie anything, yet Rachel, Jenny, and I are Klingons...wouldn't mind doing Starfleet stuff, and I know Mac and Zac and Kaety would be interested in it, too. And sheesh...the Renfest is right around the corner.

 

Snore.........huh oh um yea I thought that the scff is for star wars last time I checked. But maybe thats just me. Well any way looks like Ihop so far. just have to wait and see.

Hey I get the scifi channel! I just don't like to many of the shows they put on there. Thats all. Well any way I guess we should look into other ideas but thats up to a vote with the cr.

while FF is based in star wars, it by no means has to be jsut star wars. we all have other interests. some of us are gamers( or want to learn). i my self am a big buffy fan, we have stargate fans, bab 5 fans. all sci fi. we all have other areas. we dont have to stay just with SW.

 

I think that sounds like a great idea!

I like many different sci-fi things!
