Moria Base

The newly purchased cargo fleet, as well as the existing ships loaded up on ore and then disembarked on a several for Eriadu. Back at Moria Base, the work began to install the second two Interdictor generators on the Dreadnaught. Kieran's technicians reported that all 4 layers of base defenses were now online. ((OF course I haven't listed most of them. But I do have them. When someone eventually finds me out, I will have surprises waiting.))

It was time for a change, but would that mean destruction?

Hyperspace

Excellsior and Orthanc continued to their target.

IC -Baker
Captain Baker watched as the sensor screens showed the troop ships from the Vong battle group begin to rise from the ground.

"All weapon stations alert! I want the two Vic's down low in atmosphere, all weapons target the enemy drop ships! Get those strafing Interceptor squadrons to give them cover from the skips. Helmsman?"

The man stood. "Sir. Your orders have been given sir, the vics are moving to intercept. What of our Imperial Star Destroyer's? (OOC: I have cut the original number of 20 to 10, as they got a pretty hard pounding before i showed up)"

Baker mused over the one line order from Director Lavos.
Nothing leaves Vortex Alive. Nothing.

"Get the ISD's into a net above the planet, if any troop ships break past the VSD and fighter screens, I want our ships to lock on a fire, full saturation. Can the Director give us some cover?"

"Yes Sir. He is moving into position now." said the Helmsman, as the Imperial Justice interposed itself between Baker's fleet and some oppurtunistic YV cruisers.

Baker looked down at the sensor screen as the troop ships moved into the VSD's range, a hail of concussion missiles lighting the air around the ships.

IC - Lavos
Good...good..
Thought Lavos, as he watched the Hapan's deadly accuracy show through. His good mood doured as a DSD exploded in the distance...yet another loss. These Yuuzhan Vong ships still had some fight left in them it seemed.
"Reder, Get the DSD's to move half their compliment out of the Yuuzhan Vong Fleet's range, i don't want the interdiction field commprimised...If anything gets out of this system, I will NOT be pleased..."

"Sir."

Putting a call through to Grand Admiral Jello, he updated his leader on the battle's status.
Putting another comm through to Dugal, he told is trusted friend to mop up any YV presence still on planet, and then secure the civilian populace and restore peace from panic.
And to pack up the Genesis troops..They had been effective, but not effective enough.

The next version would be better.

The Imperial Justice was rocked by the explosion of nearby Yuuzhan Vong light cruiser. The sheilds burned brightly as chunks of Yorik Coral slammed into them.

It was almost won...and their would be no escape...none at all.

OOC: WW, I have to agree with Jace. as decimated and confused as the YV ships are, they can still hurt us. Look not just above but through many of my posts, I have kept up a constant level of damage on behalf of my ships, it is wise for you to do the same.
And Mitth, good idea about the new thread...I suggest you add a link in the opening passage to Elegos' Map, it would be handy for any newbies.

bterrik watched the streaks of light snap back to pinpoints just outside the Siydiox system. He was still far enought away from the system to aviod detection, even by a Force trained person.

"Comms, tight beam transmission to the Vindicator. It should be in orbit around the planet.

"Located. Establishing connection."

"Hello, GAJ. Ready for Operation Miri Ejector?"

And this gives him alot to do.

 

The Hapans began thier assault on the upcomming ships.

Captain, please start manuver alpa 10 bravo.

Yes Sir...

The Hapian Battle Dragons, formed up, just like they did when they attacked the Grand Cruiser, and then began to roll, each rolling, but keeping a radius intact, with the outer ships moving in a circle , while the middle ship of the formation just rolled on it's axis. From a distance, the colum of ships looked like a giant wrything serpent, each segment of the giant snake a group of 7 ships. The rearmost segment had a malfunction, and two of the Battle Dragons Collided, causing hull breaches on both ships, and effectively removing them from battle.

 

Budaki piloted the Counterpoint down to Siydox, tired of waiting for answers. He landed and then covered his ship with a camo net.

His legion of NecroTrooper in the Drone Barge landed far off, they would meet up with him later, when he called them.

He took Naha and started deep into the jungle, far from the prying eyes of the Empire.

He would await the Jedi.

Moria Base

With a change in plans due to holonet reports of greater than expected defenses, the Pride of Lorien disembarked from Moria Base to meet up with the two Victories.

Eriadu

The 6 Corellian Action transports and one Carrack Cruiser came out of hyperspace at Eriadu and began requesting permission to land and deliver their quite sizeable load of ore.

Hyperspace

The Excellsior and Orthanc dropped briefly out of hyperspace at the edges of the Phu system, but then immedietly jumped back into hyperspace on a pre-recorded jump.

Talon Karrde's Asteroid

Talon Karrde leaned back in his chair as he looked over the list of supplies Kieran Flar had requested. He turned to the female Lt Cmdr....... what was her name again? Oh yes. Lt Cmdr Pala. He spoke, "Well Lt Cmdr, this is quite a sizeable order. I assume you will be paying for this all with Bacta?"

Pala nodded, "We assume that will not be any problem. We can also provide you with metal ore and possibly some Star Destroyer parts, though we prefer to get rid of some of this excess Bacta."

Karrde shook his head. "No it is allright, Bacta is good enough for us. How do you wish to arrange the exchange?"

Pala: "We will set up a reandevous circut, our ships will be at one of the several locations we will give you, and when you find us, we make the exchange."

Karrde nodded. "Allright, though there is no reason for the circut. I trust all of my people."

Pala: "Never the less, we want it this way. How long till you can get us the shipment?"

Karrde mused. "One week. Maybe two for some of the more expensive items."

Pala nodded. "Very well, we will return in one week's time with coordinates and information regarding the exchange."

Karrde raised his glass of wine, "To money and the health to spend it."

Pala acknowledged his gesture and then departed.


((OOC: Ok I tried to make that realistic using his deals in Bacta War as referance. Did we decide how long one week IC was in referance to OOC? ))

 

Captain Reder walked up to Director Lavos, was his mind was obviously elsewhere.

Content to wait for him, she stood at attention.

Deep in thought - and in a slow and deliberate manner - Kane Lavos, Director of Imperial Intelligence - put his left leg, put his left leg out, put his left leg in: and proceeded to shake it all about.

Reder frowned. "Sir?"

In surprise, Lavos looked up. "Ah Reder...did you just see.."

Concealing a wry smile, she nodded. "Yes Sir."

Turning back to the viewport he inclined his head to her reflection. "Tell no one of what you just saw, forget it ever happened."

Reder nodded, the message she was going to tell him forgotten already. "Yes Sir. Already forgotten Sir."

"Good work. Carry on."

"No good sir, we can't get through their defenses and we are out of missiles." CEIM reported and the Chiss General cursed with all the frustration he was feeling at the moment.

The Silent Wolf slowed down to a snails pace, allowing the Yuuzhan Vong dropship with its hoard of warriors onboard to gain an incredible distance like a widening canyon from a river of time, between the two ships. "Shall I return to the surface?" The droid ship inquired of its master and Mitth shook his head.

"Head to the commandship of the fleet. I'm tired and would like to take a rest after these past few weeks." Unconciously he rubbed his shoulder from an aching pain that continued to annoy him since his 'interrogation'. "The others can catch a transport."

"Yes, sir. Setting course for the Imperial Justice." CEIM replied and Mitth leaned back in his oversized chair, fingers drumming against the armrests with his eyes half closed and half staring out through the viewscreen into the vastness of space and the temporary chaos of battle.

It did not take long for The Silent Wolf to dock aboard the Imperial Justice, even after dodging several coral skippers that thought to add them to their kill card, or nearly avoiding a collision with the remains of what use to be the Warmaster's coral command ship.

The ramp lowered upon Mitth's presence, no doubt controlled by the CEIM, and the Chiss General disembarked to be greeted by a low ranked officer. It seemed the Director and his Captain had no time to greet a high ranked official. This Mitth appreciated since the circumstances would not allow it and if the two had come to greet him, his respect for the two would have dropped. No man in his right mind would drop a battle to greet some higher ranked official, even if it was the bloody Emperor himself.

But there were some who were foolish enough to greet even the Emperor in the middle of a battle.

The lowly officer lead him through the corridors of the mammoth Super Star Destroyer, explaining the Directors sincerist apologizes for not greeting him and again for misjudging his loyalties to the Empire.

Once inside his quarters, he immediately left the officer rudely at the door and strode past the furniture and to his bed where he assumed laying down on his back and kick off his boots.

"Enough of the war for now." Tis good to back around familiar surroundings. He thought and dozed off.

 

OOC: So is the treaty offical? I heard that the Imperials have arrest warrents on Ruck_and_Maul and CaptKieranFlar.

IC:

Vice Admiral Bravo existed his private chambers and into the bridge. Captain Jonesy stood at the main view port.

Captain Jonesy: "Admiral sir, how are you?"

Vice Admiral Bravo: "Doing good Jonesy, doing good. Is Mr. Green up?"

Jonesy: "Yes sir. I have Wilkins waiting for you at his cell."

Bravo: "Good. Thankyou Jonesy."

Jonesy: "Yes sir."


Bravo left the bridge, escorted by two fully armed stormtroopers. When the Galliant was capurted, stormtrooper armor was recovered. Vice Admiral Bravo had all elite troopers and guards wear Stormtrooper armour.

Bravo arrived at the brige, where Captain Wilkins stood, guarded by 2 Stormtroopers.

Captain Wilkins: "Sir. How do you feel today?"

Vice Admiral Bravo: "Good. In fact I feel great. Is Mr. Green ready to talk?"

Wilkins: "Yes sir. He cracked. He is willing to tell us everything."

Bravo: "Good."


Bravo entered the cell where the trader Mr. Green stood. He had cracked. Skin under his eyes were dark, his eyes were blood shot and just the look on his face would have made any doctor wounder how he was still alive.

Bravo: "Mr. Green, how are you." Bravo took a seat at the small table on the cell. Mr. Green slowly sat at the table.

Mr. Green: "I...am...go...od...I will...t...ell...y...ou...ever...y...thi...ng."

Bravo: "I am sorry for what has happened to you. But no one will harm my crew. No one!"

Mr. Green: "Sorry sir."

Bravo: "You have paid your price. So what do you want to talk about?"

Mr. Green: "The Vong."

Bravo: "Is that so?"

Green: "Yes. They will attack Vortex anytime now."

Bravo: "They have already. And they have lost there war master. Two of them so close. I think the Vong are breaking apart."

Green: "No...they will only get stronger. At Wayland, The_Eigth_Cortex awaits you. He says you will talk with him, to learn more about the Vong."

Bravo: "I still plan on keeping my word. I have been tired up, hunting Imperials. Now the Imperials are our allies."

Green: "No! That can't be."

Bravo: "It is true. The funny thing will be when I hand you over to GrandAdmiralJello."

Green: "You can't do that! If he has me, he will kill me."

Bravo: "That is why yu should of not joine dthe Vong. The Imperials were hit hard at Vortex, but survived. I think GrandAdmiralJello will have a few words to tell you, and have you pay for the ships he had lost."

Green: "No! Please. You are a Jedi, you can't do this to me!"

Bravo: "Can't I? Vong hunt and kill Jedi. Vong hunt and kill Imperials and Rebels. You made your final mistake. I am sorry."

Bravo got up and left the cell. Mr. Green tryed once more.

Green: "Please. You can't do this to me!"


Bravo kept on walking. He stooped at Captain Wilkins.

Bravo: "Make sure he is ready for transport to GrandAdmiralJello."

Wilkins: "Yes sir."

 

oooh: a tough Jedi. Alliance Fleet, be prepared to get busy. I have orders waiting for the creation of the new thread...I have been waiting for it. To get them all at once will eliminate confusion...sorry about our Inactivity...but now, we will reek havoc on our Vong enemies.

 

Colonel Baron_Fel walked into the shipwomb on Dathomir.He had been told that all the shipwombs in Yuuzhan Vong occupied space were building new ships in overtime to makeup for the losses at Vortex.

He had also been told by the warmaster through villip that he would be in charge of the defense of Yuuzhan Vong occupied space.He promised the warmaster that he would not fail him and await his return.

 

After recieving Kieran's shipment, he allowed the order to start producing X-wing squdrons and some other types of ships. As an annendum to this he makes it clear that R&D can start stepping up ideas to be considered.

Fine, sir. I trained a little, and then there were classes...same as every day. YouAgain is starting to annoy me, but I have pushed those thoughts aside.

 

Our hero stared out of the window of his quarters. Space had always fascinated him. He thought of how easily the Vong could be crushed at this point. "But why do we not finish them all now?" He asked aloud. Then he remembered the thrill of fighting an enemy with brains and brawn. Our hero smiled to himself. "Then again what fun is a weak enemy?"

 

There is a difference? I was taught to live for and serve one Force. If you are wondering my strengths, I am strongest in lightsaber dueling and fighting.
