He's a real guy. According to IMDB his name is Wayne Pygram, and he was in Farscape.

I was really disappointed that Wayne's speaking scenes were cut. Actually, I don't know if he had any in the first place, but all of the Farscapers know how much Scorpius' mannerisms and vocal inflections were very close to Peter Cushing's Tarkin.

I hope there's deleted scenes with Wayne on the DVD.

You prefer an actor? A human actor? Then name the actor!!

I grow tired of asking so this will be the last time. Was Tarkin real or CGI?

    He's real bro.

BTW - goin' to see it again tonight in Farmingdale.

Like my man Ric Flair would say, "Whooooooooo!!!!"

I'm sure I read in the Making of ROTS book the Tarkin lookalikee actually wore a mask to make the likeness as near as possible. And as for speaking part - I don't think that was ever on the books, it isn't in the script (I have 2 versions - one in a pdf and one in the UK art of ROTS book). C-3P0 does get much screen time on ROTS, bit of a spare part really, so I think he got the honour of saying the last words in ROTS and then in ANH he says the first words of the Classic saga. It would kinda spoil the sequence if some opened their gob in the middle of the moving music :p

Billy, I agree. I think its more prosthetics and make up than a mask.
