Well , basically, I just know that Texas is one of the states of USA, President Bush is from there (or at least, he was Governor of this state) and that the death penalty stills being executed there.

Well, I just know bad things about Texas.. [face_plain]

    :p

I know it was part of Spain one time, and now it's one of the most important states in USA. About 6 flags, I like those parks

I share Vanessas opinion, but it is just our opinion. And I like it when that's respected.

That quote fits: "From a certain point of view..." Obi Wan, RotJ

I think it's cultural differences, from what I have seen people in Europe think rather differently to those in the US. So yes, certain point of view.

    Exactly!

And as Amber said, probably it's cultural differences, and I respect you think that I'm wrong.. so I would like that you respect my opinion, even if it's not the same of yours.

Basically Texas is just another state in the US. The only big differnce between that and the other states was that Texas was a country itself before it joined the United States. Thus the LoneStar State. And when you say Texas, most people just think of Chuck Norris as Walker.

Texas is the only state that can have its flag at the same height as the US flag, no?

    What else? Dallas Mavericks.

What do You know about Poland for ex

Poland was a pretty big kingdom centuries ago. It was conquered and what is now Poland was split between Germany and Russia until after WWI, then was again taken by the Germans and the Soviets in WWII. After the war, it was communist and a member of the Warsaw pact, Warsaw is the capital of Poland. Communism fell in the early nineties, became democratic, and about recently joined the European Union. It currently has troops helping in Iraq.

Croatia, I'll be honest, other than it being part Austria-Hungary prior to WWI and being part of Yugoslavia after, I really don't know jack squat about it.

    Germany after WWII
Became West(democratic) and East(Communist)Germany. It helped start the cold war. The Berlin Wall fell in '89 and the country was reunited in '90.The current chancellor is Gerhard Schroeder. It has 16 states I think. The Palistinian terror group "Black September" killed 11 Israeli athletes in Munich during the '72 Olympics. The population is more than 80 million. It is a member of NATO and one of the original members of the EU. And you can drink when you are eithe 16 or 18, can't remeber for sure, I wish it was like that here.

Sorry it took so long to answer, but I've been without a computer for 2 months, and when I did have access to one, I didn't have much time to talk.
