Thursday Next: First Among Sequels by Jasper Fforde

I saw this in the bargain books section at Barnes & Noble and decided to add it to the other Jasper Fforde hardcover I own.

Ever read this before buying it? Seen the film?

I just bought Mona Lisa Overdrive, the 3rd book of the Sprawl trilogy.

    Is it odd that we have a thread for books we have bought but have not yet read and another thread for the books we are reading? So I post here that I bought it then post there that I am reading it? 8-}

Picked up books 2 and 3 of the Hunter's Blade Trilogy, so I'll get to those sooner or later.

Also picked up a cheap copy of Hades' Daughter - never heard of the author, but it looks interesting, so I figured I'd give it a try.

Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne.
Its Jules Verne. Need I saw more?

Ring of Fire II Edited by Eric Flint.
Eric Flint's Ring of Fire series is really good, but sometimes hard to find, so whenever I see them, I pick them up.

    I bought Deapool/Thunderbolts: Dark Reign.

    Why: It's Deadpool. I don't need a reason why.

Just bought Iron Dawn and Jericho Moon online, used. Why? Because it's MATT STOVER.

Blood Promise, the fourth book in the Vampire Academy series, reasons well because its the next book in the series and also, I happen to think its better than the Twilight books, not as big but more action packed in...

I don't remember what the last book I bought was. Next I'll probably buy the Southern Vampire Mystery Series/Sookie Stackhouse Series/True Blood Series even though I already have them on my iphone thru kindle.

The Kennedy Curse by Eward Klein.

Why: I'm not really sure, it just looked interesting, I had some money, and I like history.

    All recently:

Imperial Commando: 501st - its Star Wars. 'Nuff said.
Runelords: Wyrmling Horde - book 7 of a series I've followed relatively closely. Paperback is finally out
KotOR7 (Comic TPB) - the KotOR comics are awesome
Corean Chronicles - L.E. Modesitt, one of my favorite authors, and his biggest series that I haven't already read. So far I've read the first, and it was very good.
Viewpoints Critical - collection of short stories by Modesitt; I've read the Recluce ones which were excellent, and look forward to reading the rest
SW: Empire 7 (comic TPB) - slowly building up SW comic collection
Death Troopers - SW. 'Nuff said, though this one was with reservations, because its also horror and I'm not a big horror fan.

    Ordered and arriving soon:
Gathering Storm - :D :D :D :D :D Do I really need to explain this one? I think I've said enough in the other thread :p
SW: Dark Times 1 (Comic TPB) - slowly building up my SW comic collection

I bought the newest Moira J. Moore book over the weekend and read it - Heroes AT Risj. I'd recommend her; I enjoyed it.

Last Amazon UK book was Death Troopers, which I have now read. I bought a few books at a local bookstore last weekend. One was the new Hitchhikers hardcover. (Haven't started it yet).

How was Deathtroopers? I'm kind pumped about the idea of Star Wars with zombies. :D
