Where exactly is Lubbock?

    I'm not familiar with America. Where is Lubbock, Texas? Is that near Mexico? How close is that to Oklahoma? Were there any Star Wars fans killed in that bridge collapse there?

    Lubbock is a 6 hour drive west of Dallas. It's a 2.5 hour drive south of Amarillo. It's an 8 hour drive north of Mexico. It's about 4.5 hours from Oklahoma. It's basically in the middle of the Texas panhandle.

    I don't know if any fans were killed in OK.

    Well, if there's a bright center to the universe, Lubbock's the city that it's farthest from. ;)

    I thought that was Abilene. I describe it to others as "3 hours from anywhere."
