OK, so, if you had to pick a hell hole where you'd least want to be, where is it?

For me the choice is obvious. Oblivious to the outside world; devoid of all humanity, it's a shrieking mass of primal humanity gone wrong. The Ep. VII forum.

Honestly? Picnic compared to the EpVII forums.

Have you ever seen the video clip for "Come to Daddy" by Aphex Twin? If not, go YouTube it. Now, imagine all those little schoolkids who have Richard D James' head instead have Arlon's head. That's Episode VII forums right now.

Shouldn't you have just titled this thread "I hate the E7 forum"?

You have no flair, no style, do you Tunick? It's all neckbeards and Blackberries for you!

It's truly a mess in there. Terrifying. I don't know if you've ever been to a kids birthday party, you know, for say 5 year olds? It's like that, writ large.

At least in Syria, the post-Sandy mess, or slim parts of Afghanistan you can have a rational discussion with someone. Without reason, what are we Tunick? Animals! Or the cast of Jersey Shore.

So, regarding your comment - how dare you, sir!

And how dare you, sir! My apartment is very tastefully decorated and without any red-head Welshman running amok.

The Disney World tryout room where a few thousand people think they can be a wandering costumed Star Wars character.

What are you talking about? The EpVII forum is the most fun I've had in days. Granted, I'm a very big part of the problem in there, but the EPVII forum needs a great villain. I'm totally willing to step up.

As kids, they were the fat ones on Santa's lap saying "For Christmas I want a Power Ranger, and a bike, and a TV, and a PlayStation, and some movies, and some t-shirts, and a pool, and some Lego, and some ice-cream, and a Spiderman costume, and some comics, and, and, and..."

As adults, it's "I want Spielberg and Peter Jackson and Christopher Nolan and Bryan Singer to direct it, and I want it to star Keria Knightley and the guys from Twilight; and the Avengers was cool so they should be in it, and so should the guy from Lord of the Rings (probably all of them), and the novel should be written by JRR Tolkein even though he's dead with input from Robert Jordan, even though he's dead, and George RR Martin, and Terry Brooks, and Brandon Sanderson, and, and, and..."

One person suggested Kevin Smith direct it. Now, I am a massive Smodco fan and I listen to maybe 4-5 of his Podcasts a week. Love the guy, have done since I saw Clerks and Mallrats in 96 (also, he favourited a Tweet I sent him!). Not only is he quitting movies after 1 final film ("Hit Somebody"), by his own admission he's a small story teller. But someone likes Star Wars, and someone likes Kevin Smith, therefore they must go together!

Someone else suggested Tony Scott. If I'm not mistaken, Tony Scott's suffering a fatal case of death.

This was written with that forum in mind:

Ender_Sai: There's nothing worse than the cast of Jersey Shore, even if Arlon were to become the head admin one day.

They can speculate on all manner of inane things (See also: Speculation about director; who'd score it; who'd be in it; who write the tie-in novel), but something important like what the cast would eat gets locked? Outrageous.

Oh, you just took your first look inside the Ep VII forum didn't you Tunick? I like that description though, it should be the official one.

I'm not adamantly against the lock (though the whole forum is a bunch of stupid speculation at this point so I thought it was harmless), but anonymous mod edits are annoying, yes. Definitely should be a rule for that.

Come to think of it, the Episode 7 board actually is pretty scary. Throwing out the entire EU? Bringing back Mark Hamill as Luke? *shudder*
