My money's on the Smurfs. Grimace and Barney are bound to see each other as bigger threats, so they go after each other first. While they are clawing eyes and pulling hair, Papa Smurf would come up with a plan to overwhelm the winner by force of numbers.

 

I'll say the Smurfs because Papa Smurf is a wizard. And do not forget the fact that Papa Smurf is also on very good terms with both Mother Nature and Father Time. Yeah, I'm sure Barney and Grimace would both die very purple deaths... can I watch?

I know a different version of the Barney song...but it's a little dirty.

 

I remember that there was a patch for Doom which turned a lot of the monsters into Barney.

The Smurfs are based on all smurfs smurfy they couldn't smurf anysmurf smurf if their smurfs depended on it. It's their Smurfy nature. (NOTE: ME LOVES SOME SMURFS - figurines, books, CARTOONS (still need some, those I have smurfloads of them coming out of my smurfing smurf...)

Barney is a wild card. came after my "time", so to speak. don't know his motives. he's huge. survived extinction - so he's a tough one. (maybe responsible for his brethren's demise, mayhaps, hmmm???) once was parodied in a Garfield the cat cartoon. I loves me some Garfield, especially the one with the Odie-esque alien in bed with Jon. (sounds nastier than it is, so don't get percited.

Ahhh. This brings us to Grimace - or should I say The EVIL Grimace. Yes, that's right - and very much truthful for once. McDonald's originally planned for Grimace to not be giddy and a friend to us all. No, he had 4 arms and "mean" eyebrows. Other than that, he looked like the friend we know and love today. He was an "evil" character, much like the old Hamburglar was (and was friendly-ized himself later on) - always trying to steal food from the hard-working PR people in McDonaldland.

sooooo...knowing Grimace's evil-based background, he might have some dirty tricks to play...
