With the exception of AOTC, what is your favorite movie this summer?

why isnt signs on the list? i liked it alot, next to that i'd have to say goldmember.

i liked spider-man, MIIB and lilo and stich
but i think i'll go with MIIB

 

Minority Report, Signs coming in second.

 

i voted for PPG, because it was really, really funny for the most part, but the actual best movie i've seen this summer has been 24 Hour Party People, which is not on the list.

minority report was pretty good and very, very pretty, but kind of stupid. spidey was underwhelming. i had the misfortune of seeing that Chris Rock/Anthony Hopkins spy movie, which, despite the heroic efforts of Messrs. Rock and Hopkins, stank like donkey farts. i've haven't seen any of the others yet because i am lazy.

 

I voted Minority report. Spiderman, Goldmember, Signs, not a bad summer for movies.

 

Spider-Man was good (though overrated), as was Minority Report. I haven't seen Goldmember yet (but I've heard good things about it).

But I can safely say that MIB II is on my "worst of 2002" list, right along with the canine who should've stayed in the 2nd dimension: Scooby Doo.

 

You forgot about Scooby Doo!! that movie was awsome. Spiderman was so overrated...yes it was a good movie but not that good..Batman and Superman crush that spiderman movie anyday.

 

I picked Goldmember, but only because my favorite movie wasn't up there. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I liked Signs better than AOTC.

Minority Report was my favourite this summer.

 

Goldmember. All the bad press surrounding it put me off, though I finally managed to see it, and I liked it a lot. Next I'll say MIB2 (I'm not putting MIIB; it looks stupid ) and Spider-man.

 

I haven't seen all of Goldmember, but working at a theater part-time I have seen parts. It's far from impressive to me.

 

Spider-Man was the only movie I saw close to as many times as AOTC. Just a really well done comic book movie

 

Spiderman was the best movie this summer, end of discussion.
