FF:WA Yes Schumy WORK for first place!

Im watching 10's coverage in its infancy and impressed. Indeed rule changes are an NOT inspired by schumy's superior driving.

Formula one got boring! Consistant performance by the prancing horses due to huge pocketbooks. Inconsistant and poor reliability of some of the lower budget teams also contributed to the concoction.

But then again, this is formula one right?

Well, after all that, I'm happy that ferrari didn't get everything their way this time around. Plenty of positive notes, including a collection of different teams in the top 8, and although webber failed to make an impact, he should have a better season this year.

I'm just glad it wasn't a ferrari one-two.

 

One of the best races I've seen in a long time.. Very close racing in the first half.. and even towards the end, the top 4 were within 20 seconds of each other..

Shame Webber dropped out.. his jaguar had some pace in it..

? What exactly would that entail?

 

Simple: anyone interested battles it out in a range of games (for example, Mario Kart, Jedi Outcast, Halo, Marvel vs Capcom, really any multiplayer game be it shooter, sport, fighter, racer or puzzle). There's a top 5/10 from each game, and as we go along through the titles, the points rack up to determine the ultimate gamer on the WA boards.

By involving a range of games and platforms (pc and all consoles), just about anyone can play and be in the running.

I think that the games would be a great idea, but in reference to that, can we stop calling things Outer Rim. It no longer exists and kind of draws the emphasis away from FFWA.

 

That idea sounds pretty sweet kart..

If you ever played the original on SNES and clocked it like I did (after spending weeks on the last Special Cup track) it's a challenge and a half.

MK64 wasn't entirely shabby either.

Oh, and Jarsis, I'm more then willing to challenge you on MK I'm not too shabby myself.

 

/wips out MK3 & Streetfighter turbo on megadrive.. Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi on PS1.. I'd play ya at shadows of the empire on the 64, but its singleplay

Mariokart rocks btw ... used to have fun 'red shell draging'
-fly around the map,
-get upto powerband speed,
-one of the other players fire a red shell after u pass them,
-& the red shell cant catch u, (if fired correctly) and see how many u could drag around the map our record was 4.. any more and they take each other out..

 

I remember getting action replay for Mario Kart 64 and ended up melling the machine out cause it couldn't handle the infinate red shell code.

And don't the comp players get annoyed when
they dont finish in the places theyre programmed to be in.
