AOL will include Media Player as part of its online service -- it kills Real Networks, and really, who's gonna use AAC when Media Player's comes with Windows?

AOL will get better Windows source code support and get to keep developers on site at MS HQ -- while it might seem a win for AOL, it gives MS the ability to direct AOL Windows development.

AOL and MS will work together on media technology -- meaning MS will have more control of AOL Windows-based media.

AOL didn't get the upper-hand. They gave up" for $750 million. I see it as the beginning of the end of the alliance AOL/Netscape had with Apple.

But...maybe I'm just crazy...and I've been called crazy on many occasions.
