1st meeting ideas.

Here we need to come up with something for our first meeting, like meet somewhere and eat. There we could discuss things like a formal name for our chapter, recruiting for the chapter, and where our intrest lie in the Star Wars universe. Post any ideas you may have for the first meeting so we can get started.

 

I dont know where could we meet?

 

We had our first meeting at a restuarant.

Or try meeting at one another's house's.

 

A bookstore (Half-Price Books?) or coffee shop (Starbucks) might also be good locations, esp if they have a nook or free meeting area you can reserve in advance.

 

hm.... i cant drive. hehe my parents could drop me off i guess

we dont have a starbucks but we have a books a million and it has a Joe Muggs Coffe Shop

we could meet at copelands i'll buy hehe.

 

How about Johnnys Pizza Warren dr. It has that backroom with video games and stuff.

 

I cant tonight. i have to go to spearsville maybe next week but we werent planning for this week were we?

 

Oh no! Not tonight. I'm expecting a baby any day now. I was thinking 2 week in March.

 

Oh no i have to go to Oklahoma city for a basketball tournament that week

oh well i guess i have to miss the first one

 

Don't worry we will work it out. I want everyone at the first meeting.

 

Ok thanx i am 13 yrs old so dont expect anyone mature or anyhtign if we got o johnnys i might play games the whole time hehe

 

I dont care how old you are,If you can hold your own in the star wars universe your ok with me.

Trust me guys...this is the hardest part...getting the 1st Meeting off the ground.

It took New Jersey a very long time to get started.

Just a little suggestion, if y'all don't mind...just be mindful of the ages of your members. For members that are under 18, you may want parental permission for some events.

Yeah mygrandmother lives close to johnny's on warren i could walk if i were to over there at the time of our meeting.

I was thinking if anyone's still off tomorrow we might be able to meet. I don't think it'll be counted as an official first meeting, not really being planned far enough in advance, but we could still see each other and stuff. Just a quick meeting at Johnny's or something. That is, if you guys actually see this in time, and I doubt it. Is anyone off Monday? ?

 

I will have to see if I can do it tomorrow. possible I will let you guys know tomorrow morining.

 

tonight wouldn't be good if between 5 and 8 not good

2 or 3 maybe Thursday,monday,and Tuesday aint good. for me.

 

Well I just saw these post. What about Saturday. If not night maybe lunch time?
