Doh! Sorry Inty. I intended to HTR those results and I guess I just entered it without even realizing it.

Couple of big names go home on Day 1a: Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan

this year's field is much smaller tha last year's because they limited the number of online qualifiers

Truthfully the government scared away alot of the small-time online poker sites from Americans with the Unlawful Internet Gaming Act. Many of these sites just lost a ton of customers and as a result, satellites were down overall online.

Just made reservations for my next Vegas trip. I had some free nights to use from Flamingo's and they gave me a free entry into a video poker tournament. I never play video poker, but what the heck. The worse that can happen is I lose out early and head back to the craps table.

I think we should get a few people from the forums to all join the same multitable tournament on partypoker at a designated time. We give each other our names and see who does the best. :D

give your name and partpoker name and then we can discuss which tournamnet to enter.

I play in the same casino as WSOP Final Tabler John Kalmar, the G Casino in Blackpool. Playing there tonight as a matter of fact. Haven't seen him since his cash at the World Series, though.

I do most of my playing online at PartyPoker. Seem to be enough fish there to bankroll me for the live tournaments at my local casino.

We just had a big gambling bust in Raleigh a few days ago and WSOP bracelet winner Mike Gracz was one of the ones busted. Gracz and some of his poker buddies bought and renovated a house in Raleigh a couple of years ago, turning it into a poker room. Greg Raymer has since moved to Raleigh and he may have bought into it as well. All of Raleigh PD knew about it and I actually went once with a friend who is with RPD to play a small tourney. There was basically an unwritten agreement that RPD would let them be as long as no complaints or other more serious violations came up. Some off-duty RPD were actually working security since the house obviously couldn't call the cops if they were robbed. But then they started adding roulette wheels, table games, etc. and turning it into more of a full-fledged casino and word was getting out, so PD finally got some pressure from neighbors to raid it. Most likely everyone busted will just be fined and life will go on, but you never know.

Pokerstars or Full tilt might be easier as US players are not allowed on Partypoker.

I have accounts with Pokerstars and Ultimate Bet. I had a PartyPoker account a few years ago, but I hated the site. I was always having slow-downs and constant disconnections, so I quit going there.

Wasn't sure if they could or not. I don't know. They lost me as a customer when they stopped letting US players play the real money tables. I don't even know if my account still exists there anymore or not. POkerstars and Full Tilt have better software and tournament structures, too, IMO.
