Sometimes I think that "StarWars" was translated with a singular because of the of the awful alliteration in "é" it avoided... "LEs guErres dEs Etoiles", yuck, too many similar sounds in a single title...

Raja_Io, The most important thing for you to keep in mind when learning French, is the fact that direct translation will hinder the immersion process. I know you are probably in French 1 or something like it, (i never heard of banned dictionary use, it is essential in my class) but one cannot effectivly master French without thinking how one would say something with the French grammer structure they are learning. Especially with the vocabulary that one has mastered.

BTW, how do you say "I suck at French"?

 

Je suis le suck a la Francais (+the accent on the a and the sigmund on the c, but my computer doesn't like doing them)

"Je suis nul en français" should do the trick.

 

Just replace "nul" with a certain expletive

Tu peux dire - Je suis un cancre en français.

But "cancre" is the kind of word only teachers use. Not students.

"je suis (nul(le) à chier en français". Careful children, this one is PG-13, do not use it in front of your teachers' sensitive ears...

 

I'm sure they've already heard/read this somewhere anyway, gross words are usually the first thing you look for when you start learning a new language
