Wow. First to post in the new Provo, Utah, Fanforce area! ;-)

Is there ANYONE out there who lives in the Provo, Utah, area?

Based on the way Star Wars merchandise disappears off the shelves in this community there must be a few who read these boards.

So, come on and post away!

It looks like me and you are the only ones in all of Utah so far Handyman! Nobody else is on the Ogden or SLC ones.

I would like to see how many people out there in Provo/Orem/Utah County area are interested in starting up a local chapter of Fanforce.

Creating a local forum...
- for collectors...
* To share information about where to obtain Star Wars collectables from local vendors
* To make trades with other collectors
* To show off pieces of their collection
* To demonstrate how to make replica props and costumes

- for reviews of...
* books
* toys
* software
* other Star Wars merchandise

- for Star Wars gaming nights for...
* Video Games
* Card Games
* Trivia Games
* Role Playing Games

- for meeting local people with an interest in Star Wars for...
* Conventions
* Fan Films
* Parties
* Etc...

If this is something you're interested in, then let's all get together. I already have several people not on these forums interested.

In case you're wondering, I do have experience in creating clubs/groups of this kind. I started the Provo Linux Users Group in this community over 4-1/2 years ago. We meet regularly, once a month on the Orem Novell campus, and have a different topic presented each month.

I envision the same kind of thing for a local Fanforce chapter, call it the "Utah County Star Wars Fan Club" or whatever.
