A couple of us should bring cameras for the mug shots so we'll be sure to have at least one camera there (I was gonna do it last month, but spaced it...)

Womack, you oughta come to the meeting! It is easier to complain about things when you are an actual member.

 

If you're not willing to play with the kids don't complain about the type of games they're playing.

 

I will bring my camera. The pics we take will be for the website only, not for the message board banner.

We do want to take some pics for the banner, too, though. There are some folks that have costumes that we oughta put up... And by no means do you HAVE to have a costume to be on the banner. Just let us know and we'll get you up...

Softball could be fun. Depends on the signup fees and all that...

 

we could probably get everyone who wants to play to upfront their own costs. The teams are a lot of fun. I have been on several in different cities and always had fun.

too bad we don't have any people who work for the parks and recs for the cit of albuquerque, I bet they could get us some information... oh wait a second!

Hey guys, I've pitched the idea of having a softball team a while ago. I'm game. I've played in several city leagues before. "Bronze and recreational". The main office is located at Los Altos across from Target on Lomas. Its too late for a summer team, but we might be able to group together a fall team. I'll go down tomorrow and get the info.

I like the name "Rogue Squadron"...for a team.

 

I say Imperial Domination for us darkside lovers.

 

Oh had a question for us people as far as I know me and jason that work at 2pm on sundays any chance of having a little meeting before the 2pm one like a hour or 2 before so we can get the heads up on thing. eh just a thought. dont beatup the newbie. *cowers*

Fall Softball:
Registration-July 18th-August 5th
Roster due-August 5th
Season-September 12 through October 13th
Length of season-Ten (10) games
Schedual ready-September 7th
Roster limit-unlimited
Entry fee-$495.00
Days of play-Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday,and Thursday.

If we get a team going, I think we should have a co-ed team in the "recreation league". This league is slow pitch and is not all that competitive! Its more laid back. We would need half and half...men/women on a team. I would also suggest that there be at least 14-16 players total (even amount of both sex's). This cuts the cost down to around $35.00 a player. I now of several coworkers that already want to play...

So um...what about it? Anyone want to play some softball?
