Forums are now back online, though they still need a little work.

Whoo hooo! They're back up for us! I think all the work has been done on them. I even have my own icon! It seems a little slow to me, but that may be my computer and not the site. How 'bout you guys?

Hey, thanks for the kind words, Jawawawa! :)

The server that host all of our websites including San Diego Starwars and the 501st seems to be having issues. I repeatedly get "Cannot find server" errors every other time.

What a genius I am for thinking such a thing! :p

So, are we (seattlestarwars.com) down again? Or just too many hits after Titan was on TV this am?

Hi Beth! You guys can always post on the SDSWS boards to liven them up a bit and relieve your boredom. :D

Linda! I just sent you a PM. ;)

I just may have to take you up on your idea! I like to check out your boards, too, I usually don't post too much. I'm sure I could stir up some trouble down there! :D

SSWS boards are down. I emailed Phil (RedLeader) yesterday and got his response today....

"This problem is going to take a little
more time for me to fix, but hopefully I'll have it fixed by the end of the
    day. Stay tuned."

The boards are down again, thus so are ours. Anyone know what the problem is and how long they will be down?

EDIT: Both our websites are up again. Did the websites being down have anything to do with the worm that CNN was reporting?

    This is from CNN:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Experts fear Monday could bring new outbreaks of the fast-moving computer worm that snarled business and government computers Saturday, slowing some corporate systems to the point of inaccessibility.

The worm, dubbed "SQL Slammer," attacked via a vulnerability discovered six months ago in SQL Server 2000 software from Microsoft Corp., according to Oliver Friedrichs, a senior manager with Internet security firm Symantec Corp. Microsoft has offered a free patch to fix the trouble spot, but not all users of the server software installed the patch.

Don't know but it's a fair guess.....Depot (PunkJr here) just emailed this out regarding the Seattle Star Wars message boards, which have been up and down over the weekend and tonight are back down:

"I just wanted to send out this update on the websites.

The company that hosts our servers is experiencing a bit of difficulty, and as a result, we're down for an unknown amount of
    time."

He went on to say to email him if there are problems as the webmaster and server expert is too busy dealing with the problem.

Well as I understand it. The server is just fine, but all the data was lost. To make things worse, our webmaster doesn't have access from home. So things might not be restored for quite sometime.

Alpha Base is actually up. Though not all of it. AB webmaster had some of the data but not all on her machine.
