    Luminara, here are those books I talked about

    The Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton

    and The Copper Crown by Patricia Kennealy-Morrison (These books will have to be bought used but its SOOO worth tracking down). The Copper Crown is the first in a trilogy.

    right on. thanks, i never would have been able to remember the names of those...now when im able to buy anything again, i'll check those out.
