    Now that the line is over and we've all seen Episode II a time or two (it's MUCH better after a second viewing!), I thought I'd post a bit of a wrap-up in this thread.

    First off, a million thanks to Nikohlas and Darth Glymmer for everything they did to make the Grapevine Tinsletown line a success. Both had put in countless hours planning, organizing, and working out the logistics of the line literally for weeks before we actually showed up at the theater. Without all the time, money, effort, and hard work they put into this event, the line couldn't have happened at all. Thank you very much, guys.

    Second, many thanks to JangoFettClone and Admiral Drake for putting in a lot of time in line at the theater during the days leading up to the premiere. You guys were a great help in holding down the fort and keeping things entertaining during the long wait. It was great meeting both of you, and I hope we can continue to get together, hang out, and do stuff in the future.... something other than countless hours of Unreal Tournament and Solitaire and someplace other than a concrete sidewalk. LOL!

    Third, thanks to Tom Ward and David Prowse for helping turn the premiere night into quite an event! Mr. Prowse's visits to the line on Monday and Wednesday were a great surprise, and everybody really enjoyed having him there.

    Thanks to Super Collector, aka Geoffrey Carlton, for his long hours of patrol in the sun in his Stormtrooper costume and then later as a Jedi Knight... and to his wife who appeared as a Jawa that was one of the best costumes we saw!

    Thanks to Art Dixon for also serving as Stormtrooper security and for bringing by all his awesome Star Wars collectibles including the life-size Yoda and incredible X-Wing model. It was great meeting and talking with you, and we hope you'll become an active member in the DFWFanForce!

    Thanks to Joey Barr and Gene Dawson for camping with us on Tuesday night, supplying the PlayStation and games, and for helping defend against the "tight" Spiderman freaks! LOL!

    Thanks to Josh Shaffer and M.L. Gray of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for visiting us in line and granting us a front page story and photo!

    Thanks to Paul Folger of television station WB33 for coming out to the line, doing interviews, and giving us some great publicity!

    Finally, thank you to everybody else we met in line who made the whole experience so fun and worthwhile. Thank you to the two fans who won the bid for the Jorg Sacul Celebration II figure auctions, and for everybody else who made donations to My Guardian Angel. It was great meeting you all. I hope many of you will become active members of the FanForce.

    That's all for now. I'll begin the process of gradually posting pictures from the Tinsletown line soon here in this thread, so keep checking back!

    As promised, here's the first set of pictures from the Cinemark Grapevine Tinsletown line. Click on any picture in the thread to see the bigger version.

    Here's our line Command Center while we were setting up on Saturday, May 11th around 9:30AM.
    [image=http://home.earthlink.net/~mtwjoker/line/01.JPG]

    Once we were done setting up, we had a really good base of operations and home away from home. At this point, there was only five days remaining until Episode 2.

    Darth Glymmer holds down the fort.

    Great pizza from Tinsletown filled a lot of meals for Nikohlas and Grand Moff Joker while in line.
    [image=http://home.earthlink.net/~mtwjoker/line/04.JPG]

    Nikohlas watches as Admiral Drake lounges around (and swipes more of our food! LOL!) after joining the line.

    Darth Scully joins the group for awhile on Saturday night.
    [image=http://home.earthlink.net/~mtwjoker/line/06.JPG]

    A crowd gathers to watch A New Hope...
    [image=http://home.earthlink.net/~mtwjoker/line/07.JPG]

    ...And stays to watch The Empire Strikes Back.
    [image=http://home.earthlink.net/~mtwjoker/line/08.JPG]

    After a long first day, Grand Moff Joker changes the countdown sign at midnight to let everyone know there's just four days remaining to Episode 2.

    That's all for now. More pics to come!

    Thanks! I should be at Gameworks this Saturday to visit with everyone.

    I'm looking forward to being a member of the DFW Fan Force.

    The whole time I've had my Star Wars obsession I was but a lone Sith. I had one friend who was just as obsessed, but he lived in Phoenix. But now I have an outlet of many, many people just as if not more obsessed aboot Star Wars as I am.

    As geeky as it is, I'm actually excited.

    Once again, thanks for the welcome.
