Very sorry to hear that Mason. I'll work around it. One of the other clones will be designated the alternate squad leader for story purposes and I'll forward you the opening information and first mission data after Thursday's game.

The one benefit is that your role Specialty Skill that I outlined up above was rendered essentially mute this first mission anyway. Littl hard to do strafing runs in Kasshyyk's dense forests. :p

Alfredo, Noelle, glad to hear the interest. Can you PM me details about your character? Specifically:

    1. If you are playing a clone or another species. See the rules above for how to generate attribute points based on that choice.

    2. Character Class

    3. Role. See above for details. Make sure the role is unique. I may not have your Specialty Skills formulated by Thursday but I will definitely have them by next week for you.

We'll do full character introductions on Thursday.

Oh, one more thing. Nat and I ran into a young man named Nicholas (we think that's what it was) who was heavily into SW Miniatures. We told him about this cmpaign and he sounded quite interested. Haven't heard back from him yet, but if he does, we might have a new player.

    Updates to the Roles List:

    Established:
    Squad Command - Mason
    Slicer - Natalie
    Sniper - Dave
    Medic - Nathan

    New:
    Spy - Noelle

    Uncertain:
    Demolitions -
    Recon -

Chris expresses a desire to switch from Demolitions to Recon. Alfredo, would you like to be in charge of blowing things up?

Also, I am allowing the Tech Specialist Character Class. Chris has the info on this.

I will have the Recon and Spy equipment done before Thursday's game.

Alfredo, sorry, you've been typecast :p Also, this isn't strictly necessary, but I would like it if you'd be willing to play a clone trooper. That way I have 4 troopers, 3 non-troopers.

As for ranks, I didn't want to pigeonhole into a strict ranking system. I didn't want to deal with the potential angst. For the designation of a team lead alternate, that's a choice I'll leave to the group. However, remember that the alternate does not get the LAAT/i support Skills.

Okay, giving a lot of thought, I have come up with this special gear for the Spy and Recon roles:

    Noelle - Spy
    Micro Cloaking Device
Grants total concealment effect against most enemy Perception.
Grants Improved Cover bonus when in cover.
If adjacent to an ally, the cloak can be extended to cover them as well.
Cloak is disrupted if the following occur:
-Any character moves into currently occupied space (aka bumps into you)
-Any character succeeds in Perception check against cloak.
-You take damage due to successful attack or area damage.
Activation of device is a Standard action
Due to the large power expenditure of the device, the cloak only lasts 5 rounds (30 seconds).
Reaction: During initiative checks, if you choose, you can rush activate the device. This cloaks you before the enemies notice you. This engages a solitary Surprise Round where you get to make two actions. However, rushing the device shorts it out, and you cannot activate it for the remainder of the encounter.
You get 5 charges of cloaking at once.

    Alfredo - Recon
    Advanced Electrobinoculars
+ 10 Perception (general). Cannot perceive objects not in Line of Sight.
Target Paint: Pick a target in Line of Sight. Until your next turn, allied characters attacking target get +5 circumstance bonus on attack rolls. Target must remain in LoS. This is a Standard Action.
Vigilant Awareness: You are rarely surprised. If a surprise round occurs in which you are not aware, roll a d4. If Even, you become aware before the surprise round begins. Also, even if surprised, you are never caught flat-footed.

Hope that helps finishes off character creation. Looking forward to Thursday.

For those who weren't there last time, you guys should know the group earned the level up to Level 2. As for the mission for Friday... still working on it.

I may not be there this week. I think I forgot something I was supposed to do after work on Friday, but I'm not 100% sure yet. Still checking all the things I've got planned/have been planned for me. For now, just count me out of Friday, and if it turns out I'm being stupidly paranoid, I'll show up.

I'll take over again then, if we're meeting.

Of course, this means we'll have to capture/detain everyone in each of the villages, instead of just calling in the LAAT/i to wipe them out. Oh well, at least it's all experience points for us.

With Mason gone, and it being a holiday weekend, I am unsure as to if we should meet this coming week. It would have to be the Friday, as Nat and I are busy on Thursday. Alfredo, check your schedule for Friday and let me know.

I would be happier if we called it off this week, due to the holiday, and since we'll need as many people as we can for running through those villages. But I don't have a schedule conflict with any of the two nights this week.

    Well, that settles my mind.

There will be no RP night this week. We'll meet up again next week.

Happy Fourth! See you at Smudge's on Saturday.

Let's hope we can get the whole group together next week! This is also my last week for my Bible Studies, so it opens every week night to be available for gaming.

Any chance of a recap for me, Alfredo, and Noelle?

We were sent to find the missing Republic Senator and her aides.

We arrived on the planet, met with a grumpy, clone hating luietentant, and started investigating.

The Wookie and Skull were sent to investigate the CIS shuttle that was in lock down, while the Medic and Fuzzy questioned the Governor.

The Governor is a slimeball, and we managed to intimidate him enough to learn that the best place to search for the missing Senator would be in the isolationist camps in the canyons, also where our LAAT/i was waiting for us. We had the LAAT/i scan the canyons, and they found several settlements.

Skull managed to nearly get locked into an air lock, and after some properly placed explosives, and some "wookie plunging" jokes, we managed our way into the CIS shuttle, and grabbed a droid brain, and most of the data core from the ship.

We went back to the base to analyze the info, and Skull was given orders to start investigating the Lt, since he was a jerkwad and hated us clones. We needed to get his codes to get into his computer for the investigation, so Fuzzy went to get them from the Lt.

    [CENSORED]

Skull learned the Lt was part of the isolationists, and we arrested him for helping with the kidnapping, and downloading explicit Twi'lek images with Republic resources. Fuzzy became ill for several hours due to an unspecified illness.

So we found out there were a few villages in the canyons, and started planning on an assault.

Schedule for the next couple of weeks:

This week, Nat and I are going to a wedding on Friday, July 17. Due to this, we have to play our game on Thursday, July 16. I can make it, but Nat will not.

The week after that, July 19-25, I believe that we are open for both Thursday (23rd) or Friday (24th)

Now, for the next two weeks after that, Nat and I will be out of town for my sister's graduation. I believe that I am at a point in my campaign that for this week and next week, we will reach an "episode end" and I'll pull back from being GM. For the two weeks Nat and I are gone, either a small game can be played or you can continue Chris' or Mason's game, just without our characters. After we get back though, I vote for starting the Force game with Dave as GM.
