I know some things are a little jaggy but thats ok...i haven't gone throuhg with me smoothing groups yet. I'm actually quite pleased with how this is coming out.

Looks really good so far. Nice detailing. I think you should include some ref. pics though. Just so we can make better comments. Plus it took me a minute to figure out what you were modelling too.

By the way.. your ROTS DVD covers link in your signature doesn't work. Just curious.

oh and about the covers I haven't checked that link in ages.....but as a funny side story i found a thread yesterday on comingsoon.net that went on for several pages with people debating the legitimacy of my covers...alot of people thought they were the real deal...lol

Thanks Nick Hopefully I'll be doing a bit more on it today, I was surprised with how much I got done in one day as it was...lol..I think I worked on it for about 6 hours.

but yeh i keep sorta looking at this and thinking i couldn't have made it....i worked out i've spent about 11-12 hours on it in total in the last 2 days....and the thumbnails seem to look cooler than the big ones...lol

How long is say that last render taking?

Boy... it was really dark in that hallway in the movie. It'd be a shame to not see all that detail. I don't think you should light it so dark. Maybe they had it that way just b/c the ship was pretty empty. They were shooting for this creepy, quiet, dark and abandoned feel to the ship.

 

Very excellent work. However, on your pillars, it seems they are a bit low rez geometry wise. I can see the polygon edges. Same for the floor tiles.
