Thoughts??I think it's great!

 

I like it.
I love the looming Vader mask, very reminiscent of the original trilogy. It seems to tie the OT and the PT together nicely.

 

Nice, was wondering when they would release the poster. I like it.

 

I like the way the characters are aligned in a sort-of circle.Nice little 'circle is now complete' allusion.And again,we get the image of Vader domineering over Anakin.

Not too sure about Padme with dreadloks though.

 

I like the poster overall, though, I am surprised that Struzan opted (or maybe lucasfilm) to use an original trilogy vader picture for reference, as opposed to the EP3, and somewhat diffrent, vader mask.

 

Oh, did anybody notice the DTS logo at the bottom of the new theatrical poster? I don't ever recall any of the prequels being mixed with DTS encoding, only DolbyEX under THX specs. Uh, I will post a new thread posing this question or something? Maybe I should...I think I will....

 

Well, this will be a must have in my poster collection. I of course particularly like the little green guy looking ready for action, ready to kick some butt. Palpatine is really looking quite wicked as well.
Idgie and I were talking and I'm glad to see GRIEVOUS is absent from the poster.

 

Yeah, i agree on grevious being off. The ep3 poster is cool in that it focuses on the primary mover and shakers, yoda definately look ready to put the "smack down" on somebody.

 

I can just hear the whining now:

"No Grievous?!?But Grievous is so cool!Lucas has already ruined Episode III!!"

I agree with you guys,glad to see that they've kept the focus on where it belongs.

 

Looks Good.

I would love to see a bigger version to see the detail.
Maybe I can track one down before next weeks meeting.

 

I must be one of the few that actually like griveoue. I think, seeing as i'm spoiled, once people see episode III they'll change there mind. He is a worthy villian for the star wars universe. (one guys oppinon ofcourse)

 

I got mine on 3/22 at 1:30 p.m. and 3 hours later i took it to get framed.

Over all I like it. But after seeing it in full 27x40 size I think that there is some "empty space" on it.
