    Hey Chewie

I fell asleep on the couch last night, woke up talked with CPL just as we both hit the sheets at the same time or so he tells me over IM he's going to bed.

I woke up this morning to find the alarm clock didn't go off despite it being set. I guess the thing is getting old, maybe it's time for a new one. Its around can't remember when I got it, a least maybe 12 to 14 years old. Maybe more.... Some of the buttons stick and it's hard to set the time on it because it's almost non responsive, but this is the first time it's failed me.

Why don't you use your phone as an alarm clock?

I don't because i turn the sound off on my phone at night or the message alerts I get from here, work, and my other side projects would keep my wife awake.

Ah yea, that makes sense. It took me a long time, but I finally figured out that I can silence all calls, texts, and emails but still have the sound up on the alarm. Guess I lucked out.

I wake up to the radio blurring thats why I don't use the phone as an alarm clock. Besides, they're not horribly expensive. around 20.00 for a good one

Do you have to knock its head off to silence the alarm. ;)

That would be a Jango Fett clock. :p

I just throw this one down the great pit of carkoon. ;)

Acually I rarely use the alarm feature as I tend to be up and about before it goes off. It is just set to catch me in case I sleep in.

We have a bunch of the cheapo ones. They don't even light up, but for lightsaber fights with a four and five year old they are great. We have purple, green, blue and red bladed ones and a double bladed red one too. My daughter seems to prefer a jar'kai lightsaber form, often using the purple and red blades. My son goes more for a soresu type approach with either the blue or green blade. I get to choose out of what is left over. Sometimes I use a nerf blaster too just to mess with them. [face_devil]

Nerf blaster? You sound like my brother-in-law and three nephews. They use the same toys. :p

I have a heavy duty metal hilt to a lightsaber but it has no blade.

Best part about having kids is you get to play with their toys. Ok maybe not the best part, but it sure is a perk. :D
