Fan Force Trivial Pursuit, Game 2

there will be a new game of trivial pursuit coming up, speculation in this thread here is that it will be up and running at the end of the month. teams of three again. read the thread i linked for more details. i assume the main rules (such as answer discussion being done via PM) will be the same as last time. the old thread is here , take a look to see the chaos that ensued.


can i rally a midlands team again to take on the world?

it could be a while till they get it sorted and it kicks off, but if we say first come first served for the team, like last time? that makes RJK_88, HE, and me as the pencilled in team. of course, i don't know if we can't enter 2 teams, we could last time so if there are enough of us why not?

Also, are they just questions they make up to ask? Or are they from the actual SW Trivial Pursuit? (Which HunkyEvil currently doesn't have, but would like to obtain.)

 

i'm not sure how it will be played this time but the dude who was "quizmaster" last time got most of his questions from wikipedia, and then told us, so we knew exactly where to find the answers! of course we knew most of the answers anyway .

the mighty midlands team still came mid-table ish*, beating the puny north team and feeble london "b" team, and lost to the london "a" team by one point (ONE BLOODY POINT!! ), and they only got one point ahead because there was a bonus point for getting the answers in first . the rest as they say is history






* the inter chapter rivalry within the main competition was fairly intense, kind of like being a villa fan really. you don't care where you finish in the table as long as it's above the blues

I've been having a think and can't top Midlandorians

 

yeah the game will still be going ahead, best thing to do is keep your eye on the first thread i linked to in my opening post. have a look and then click "active topic notification" for that thread, then when it gets updated you will get an e-mail. the two people running the game are still unsure as to exactly how it will be played, probably due to the carnage and near disaster that was the last game, and they are tying up some loose ends with it atm.


midlandorians sounds good, but we should be "The Midlandorians v2.0" cos it's a different team

dave, skiara said she will let us know next week when kick off will be, so it will more than likely be before june 9th. however nothing is set in stone yet datewise.

jon is on standby just in case . going on the last game, some of the questions will be tough.

 

I'm hyped now! I've got a Star Wars quiz at the pub this sunday, I'm entering as a one man team since none of you guys will be there, so i'm trying to get clued up this week.
