For the last celebrations we have had a namebadge so that you could easily recognise people from FF/JC when you are running around. I think it would be nice to have one for CE as well. The process lately has been to let people design a badge, if there were several designs then there was an open vote on the forum to get a winner. Then everyone could just personalise and print their badge out on themselves. Here's the thread about the C4 badge to see what I mean.

I'm definitely planning on bringing my C4 nametag, but it would be nice to have a special one for CE as well. :)

What a great idea, I'm forever forgetting names. [face_blush]

Just a quick question though, how would we wear them?

At C4 most people put them on the same lanyard as their convention badge, or had them in an extra lanyard. It's up to you, also since people are responsible for printing them for themselves that also gives you the choice on how big you want them to be, and that could of course affect how you would like to wear it.

DIN A3 has already been done by Jello at C4...

Maybe we should have a new design for CE?

Lanyard sounds good. Will we get one with out tickets, or will we have to supply our own?

You should get a lanyard with the tickets...

I'd be interested in having a badge - though I can't design worth a damn!

I'll just be using my C4 badge, got some good memories to that one. Besides, i think time is running a bit short to start designing new ones, voting for them and have them made.. :p

I had a Jello-sized C4 badge which I didn't use, incidentally. Maybe that's the way to go for CE. :p

A badge is smaller, and you can wear it even if you are in costume.

It's a good idea. I won't be buying a tshirt though, mostly because of the money.

    Really great work!

Where in the UK could we get these things laminated?

I love it, especially the first front!

I managed to find these small precut laminating bags in an office store, I just printed the badges and then put them in one of these. No need to take them anywhere or apply heat or anything.
