The London Symphony Orchestra Strikes Back with a blockbuster programme of Hollywood?s top film themes, including a selection from A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far, Far Away to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Star Wars release.

I missed this when they did it two years ago, and it ties in beautifully with CE, although I'm sure they may have planned that

Bah, they expect it as these events are usually held in Hyde Park, so they must have an eye on the CE crowd just round the corner at the Excel. To be honest there isn't an awful lot of room around Canada Square so it may be a tight squeeze. Visually, however, a stunning part of London so it should be good none the less.

As far as I know, yeah, it'll be cool for us to go there enmasse and support this.

I'll ask em if they have any room JED1 Sure they will. I'm writing a doc/post up on ExCel and some things we can do (incl. this and the SW exhibition) outside of CE itself. Will post as soon as I am done, not sure when.

From Excel, it should take 10-15 mins to get to Canary Whalf. To get a good patch in the park, we may need to leave early, around 6:30pm I'd say. But the CE timetable may throw a spanner in the works, and the weather

Would anyone complain if we combined the CE FF party with this if we can't get the Fox on the Saturday (which is looking likely)?
