I have the seriously sinking feeling I found the right server only to have it shut off on me...connection just went for a full minute before I gave up. I was able to find WAFF Server, and the password worked, but ... no connection. *sigh* I would like to do that again if we can!

We had a few technical problems....I think we figured it out though......

 

Sorry mate, we had some issues at first, but it seems to be working now. Although everyone's gone to bed..

I checked back here a few times and didn't see any msgs soz..

I'll leave the server up for a while if you wanna give it another shot to see if it works for you. Let me know if it doesn't and I'll have to figure out what's going wrong..

 

As you can probably see from the time of this message, I was called to bed by my wife right after that

Oh well. What was the outcome? Who was there? How many times did LBJ get pwned?

Ok, I shut the server down this morning as they're doing work near my house the power will be going off later today (so it wont work now).

But yeah, outcome was kickass, Turnout was Me LBJ and LBJ's friend and LBJ won the first map, but got diced lots times after that... Dismemberment was the big winner I think... lol..

That and Lightning Spaaaaaam...

 

By the end of the session force choke was quickly becoming the favourite force power ha ha!

I think we do it again soon...hopefully connection to the server will be easier....any idea what was going on with that stinky?

Did we want to play one night next week? Or try for the weekend?

Should we start a 'Jedi Academy' specific thread?

 

As I say, Saturday is bad for me personally because of election commitments + wedding, and Sunday's looking like a catch-up day for a lot of stuff I have to do. Some night next week is probably better for me, but of course I'm only one guy.

As for a new thread: hmm, not a bad idea, and possibly good for raising some interest/participation in these threads. "Stinky's Thread of LBJ-buttkicking goodness" comes to mind

(Oh, I'm so asking for pwnination when I do finally get on with you guys... )

 

Let's try and tee up a night next week that is good for you Saint.

Stinky depending how busy we both are maybe we can have another game on the weekend to get to the bottom of the connection thing.....will be good to sort it out before next time.
