    HAhahah - Let's see Pentium 90, 16mb Ram :p

Current box is a 733PIII socket job with only 128meg in at the moment and stnd all in one mobo.

For gaming I generally stick the 733 in my other box, switch some ram and generally run a config of:

    around 825mhz
    512mb 150mhz sdram
    bx2000 mobo
    gx400 duel head {I know - but it's good for films on me telly!}
    either a sb128 or old 64gold {gd for guitar stuff}
    keyb / mouse etc...

Run 2k on one box an 98se on the other.

i also run freebsd, linux and HPunix boxes.
{though they aint the best for gaming!)

Can anybody beat this? (In terms of crapiness, I mean)

    200MHz Pentium MMX
    32MB RAM
Graphics card: Unknown (I probably don't want to know)
    Sound Blaster 16
    2 X 2gig hard drives (1 for windoze, 1 for Linux)
    24X CD drive
15 inch monitor (I think it says 'etch-a-sketch' on the side)
    56k Modem
    Windows 95
    Red Hat Linux

It is sad... and recently, everything on the screen has been turning shades of pink, my framerate for the few games I can play has become choppy and increasingly often I have to give the beast a bang to get it to start.

But soon, I will have a new Athlon/P4 powerhouse! Soon, I will have my revenge on all who have mocked me! Soon, soon...

I've got 3 systems that I can use:

    Executor
Dual Athlon XP 1900+ (1.6 GHz)
    Tyan Thunder K7 motherboard
1.5 GB PC2100 DDR RAM (it had to be registered DIMMs)
    Elsa Quadro DCC 64 MB
Samsung 240T 24" LCD flat panel
    Mylex AcceleRAID 170 (64 MB)
    2 x Seagate Cheetah ST318452LW 18GB hard drives (RAID 1)
    Promise Ultra100 RAID controller
    2 x IBM Deskstar 75GXP 75 GB hard drives (RAID 1)
Maxtor DiamondMax 40 GB ATA/100 hard drive
    HP 9600SI 12x8x32 SCSI CD-RW
    Samsung 16x DVD drive
    SBLive! Platinum
Klipsch ProMedia 4.2 THX certified speakers
Inwin full tower case with 500W power supply
    MS mouse, keyboard, joystick
    Win2K SP2, Win98 SE

    Devestator
    1.2 GHz Athlon MP
    Asus A7V motherboard
    512 MB PC133 RAM
Creative Labs Annihilator 2 Geforce 2 32MB DDR
    19" Samsung SyncMaster 900IFT
Maxtor DiamondMax 20 GB hard drive
    Samsung 16x DVD drive
    SBlive! Value
    Regular speakers
    Enlight ATX case, 300W p/s
    Win2K
    MS mouse, keyboard, joystick

    Avenger
    1.2 GHz Athlon MP
    MSI K7T motherboard
    384 MB PC133 RAM
    Asus V6800 Pure Geforce 256 32MB DDR
    17" Acer AcerView 78ie
IBM DeskStar 10 GB hard drive
    Acer 24X CD-ROM
    SBlive! Value
Hi-fi system speakers (no idea what brand they are)
No name ATX case, 300W p/s
    Win2K
    MS mouse, keyboard, joystick

After having upgraded the Executor, I had spare 1.2 GHz MP processors, and I got some spare parts so I put together Devestator and Avenger. They're being used as a render farm but I can play games too. I'm probably going to strip off the gaming and multimedia stuff (CD-ROMs, sound cards, etc) for the 1.2 GHz systems, since I don't actually need it.

:D BTW, what games would you reccomend I get? I have Tribes 2, Deus Ex, JO, and Daikatana that wouldn't run on this PC (or barely in JO's case). And am planning on getting RTCW and MOH:AA.
