Just wait, soon sarcasm will not be the only thing that gets you banned. Soon you will get banned if you have an off site board, belong to the Rebel legion or 501st, have too many social threads, talk at all about :gasp: costuming. Such a fun way to see a few kill such a nice thing like the different Fan Forces.

 

So, do you know why they're harshing so many buzzes like this? Seems kind of pointless...

 

I do, but this would need to be discussed more off these boards. Someone on an ego trip? Cant get high enough in the 501st or rebel legion, so wants to take her toys and go home.

I gotta ask. Do people really throw a fit over social threads? Because come on...how much Star Wars stuff can you really talk about? Or need to talk about? Seems kind of sad.

 

You can't have a social thread like, "Discussion of Battlestar Gallactica?" or "Who wants to get drunk and roll a homeless guy?"

 

Hey MrNepathy, if you want to get drunk on a regular basis that's fine, I'm not one to judge. But please don't bring that type of discussion to these boards.

 

Talk of drinking is rather uncool. I agree, Fenn. Rolling the homeless, however, sounds fun.

 

I agree, talking about getting drunk is uncool. But, Milwaukee and beer do seem to go together.
I don't see why we can't talk about Battlestar or anything else. They do on the JC board...or are we to only discuss other shows and topics there. If that ends up being the case, the FF is gonna fade away. Just not too much Star Wars left to talk about.

Thanks for the support. Almost all of the rules have actually been in effect for years, we've just finally just put them all together and posted them where everyone can see. So really, not much will be changing. No one will be banned for being a RL or 501st member, posting on off-site boards, or having social threads. Please feel free to read the rules here and if you have any questions as to the meaning of some see the Q&A thread.
