Yes, folks, this is a thread in which we discuss the deficiencies of the Toronto-centric CBC.

Like: Every Toronto game is in High Definition. However, the boonies (everything outside Southern Ontario) don't get the same treatment. Now CBC says they won't send a HD truck to St. Louis for the St. Louis/Vancouver series because they only have one truck in the West (out of two) and they are assigning it to Calgary. They could, of course, get a feed from the St. Louis coverage, but for some reason, they won't.

On the other end, the leafs suck since way before most people here were born. There is no color pictures of Leafs with the Cup, so cheer up...

Are you saying cities outside of the GTA can't get CBC's HD channel? That doesn't make any sense.

Exactly. If they were a private corporation, this behaviour would not be tolerated.

The way the Habs are going, HNIC may even have to show a Canuck game or two...

Whenever the games are scheduled, unless you're referring to the regular season.

Nope. You'll probably get Pittsburgh, and to be frank, I'm sure Ontario would prefer that.

Well, I checked the schedule on Rogers it says Pens/Flyers 7-8 and then Cancuks/Blues 8-10 (EST). So yeah I don't know what exactly the plan is. :p

How do you know what players I want to see? o_O

I don't really care, any playoff hockey is fine with me.

HNIC will be even more interesting if we get another Canadian team...

I have always found that the only people that complain about HNIC are the non-Leaf fans.

And did anyone see Ron McLaine's really extraordinary hatchet job on Alex Burrows? What the hell was that?

Apparently after some days of not speaking, the Canucks and HNIC have kissed and pretended to make up.

Canucks hit prime time this Saturday night, because they play the Leafs. I'm sure Burke would love to win, as would Gillis, because they loathe each other.

Burrows had a great game in Toronto. Ron McLean was sucking sour persimmons.

The game was also televised in Sweden, according to the papers.

Whoops! Cherry went ballistic on Burke for trying to get him fired.

Cherry, you're just one of many. He did that in Vancouver, too, and he successfully got Strachan fired from the Hot Stove (according to Strachan). He tried to get Gallagher fired from the Province, not because what he was saying wasn't true, but because it was.
