St. Lou, MO Holiday Meeting 2003

That sounds like a lot of fun. Don't put me down deffinate yet, but do put me on a "will if I can get off work" list. I will be sure, but at current rate and being classified as a seasonal employee I may not even have a job to request off for. But I would like to make it to this meeting. So if the stars align correctly and should so allow me to do so, I will attend.

 

Well I can reserve the room for $10 down. Should I?

 

there shouldn't really be a problem (knock on wood) so yeah i should be there, i will know for sure as time gets closer

 

Maybe we need another count... It looks like there's alot of people interested at least!

I think I will probably have at least two guests that will be interested in going, I'll call them tonight to see if they can come.

I would like to say I did everything in my power to make this meeting, it was just not meant to be. I have wanted for a long time to go to one of those laser tag arenas, and I want to make a ff meeting and meet up with you guys, and its only a couple minutes from my house. Unfortunatly if my current obligation falls through(like my place of employment burns down), I have 2 other things I would be priorly obligated to do as well.

 

yodaismygod, you are really a work-aholic! Everytime we have a meeting you have to work. Maybe next time we can find a time that will work for you as well. I'm very sad you won't be there to play Empire vs. Rebels with us.

Did we ever decide on a time for this thing? Does 3 or 4 sound alright?

 

Yeah, I was meaning to ask you about that Dajuan. 3-4 sounds good, I told my parents to not plan anything on that day, so it will be ok! Hopefully. Shouldn't have a prob.

So, how many people are going?

my parents leave for their cruise on Sunday, my brother has to work on the 10th, and my Grandmother is getting surgery that day, so with folks out of town (which could not be rescheduled, otherwise they would be home) and Jeff (my brother) having to work, I get to stay at home in case something goes wrong (which, hopefully won't happen!)

might've been able to go if I had a cell phone so they could get a hold of me... but... yeah.

so, please, y'all have fun, don't let the killing get out of hand!

I think the games are like $6 each though I could be wrong. Check out the link I gave you earlier. I'll call them tomorrow to see if I can reserve. I tried this morning but they weren't open yet.

 

Alrighty here's the deal.

1. We need 8 people


2. It will be $11 per person (this includes 2 games)


3. We have a room from 5-7pm, so don't be late


4. Food will be extra I think


5. I forked over $25 so be there!!

That is all. I would like to have a list of whose going ASAP. Bring your friends that is fine. We need AT LEAST 8, but could have tons more.

 

I'm going for sure, unless something goes horribly wrong. Bringing a guest too. Maybe one more, have to see if she wants to go or not.

For those who are coming or are thinking of going:

I heard Lazer Core is a fun place. I'm going there to see how big it is inside and see some of the features there maybe tonight. I would really like to see you guys there! I've never been there(even though it's almost just across the way!) so it will be a new experience for me also.

Dajuan, I'll ask some people tomorrow at school. They love SW, and might just be interested.

 

I might be able to snare 2 more people but that's it. I guess I'll have to do a survey before the next meeting to find out good days/times/places for everyone. Give me a copule days and it will be in everyone's inboxes.

Out of curiosity, where is K & N Plaza? Mapquest doesn't seem to find the address listed or the business name.

 

well all i would love to go but I got a few things keeping from going...

1) I work till 3 that day
2) I don't drive so i don't get home till almost 4 (stupid bus)
3) No ride there.....
