Sad indeed for us, but good for you. Saint, I made that decision a year ago and it worked well for me. I understand. There is always something we miss in life and once you had a lot of something, time might be good to fullfill your other dreams. If you ever need a German publisher gimme a call (PM, poke, yell, letter, conversation, email, whatever).

Well, as it is the topic of the week . . . I´d love to read that novel one day Saint. Let the boards know when it is out!

Nobody understands better than me, probably. As I actually will be forced into retirement, too. Not half as shocking and not having anything near the impact of our old-blood Saint leaving probably, but I wanted to let people know I will soon be gone for a long time. If anybody is interested in details, I offered a few in The Forever War thread.

I am sorry to make this a trend of sorts.

 

Ktala and Ramza, I'm having some flashbacks of certain "party" scenes from that movie seeing that post. Kind of a "cannot be unseen" kind of moment

 

Wow two people gone in such a short amount of time. I understand both of your reasons though. This actually makes me want to hurry and update WoK, before they think I'm retiring too.
