I.E., CA **IEFF MEETING** 1:00 Saturday, April 12 in Victorville

This meeting has really snuck up on me. Not sure where this past month went!

We have a meeting this Saturday at 1:00 at the Denny's in Victorville (NOT Hesperia). Here are a few things we'll be going over:

Free Comic Book Day
Indy IV
Star Wars Day at Paul Biane Library, May 24th
IEFF Buttons

Please let me know if you'd like me to add anything to the agenda.

If any of the above are your projects, please be ready to update us on any new info.

If you ordered tickets to the John Williams concert in August, I can start taking the money for that now. You have until June to pay for them, but that's sneaking up on us, too.

Just to be clear, are you talking about the IEFF buttons?

If so, I'm working on it and should have numbers before the meeting.

We will be there and will help with $20 for the buttons.

 

I should be able to make it with the Youngling in tow.

I'll check into it, but I'd assume that maybe only the part I made bold would be needed. I'll get back to you on it.

 

My button lady and I are playing an extended game of phone tag. However, she left me a message that the buttons would be $20 to $25 per 100 (plus tax). So, at least we have a ballpark number to start with. I'll post when I get anymore info.

My dad might be joining us for the meeting. He's helping me do some work around my house (actually, it's more like I help him... a little) and he might be here on Saturday. I really hope he comes!!! My dad is awesome!

I didn't just go to the wrong table or restaurant of the same name, I went to a restaurant with a totally different name and at the top of the mountain rather than the bottom. Takes great skills to make a mistake like that!

 

Those are exactly the kinds of skills we need to lead us against the dark side!

Okay Okay, I know I'm being such a brat today, but I really need some slap stick comedy... life has been difficult lately and I'm finally seeing a break in the darkness and feeling a bit more spunky today.

Besides, Kari, the only thing wrong with what happened is we didn't get to spend much time with you...
