Cool, it's the plane from the teaser trailer.

 

And it'll be a nice base to mod into the plane from the start of Temple of Doom.

LEGO's online store is now selling keychain versions of the LEGO mini-figures of Indy, Professor Henry Jones, and a Pilot/Guard.

Better get them before they sell out.

 

Picked up my first Crystal Skull set today. The cheap one. Mutt's hair is great (for Han Solo customs, for example). The tent is cool too.

Now need to save up for the bigger sets.

 

I got the tent set with Mutt and Indy and the amphibious vehicle with Marion and Indy. I don't think they're as good as the classic sets, but still cool.

Is the amphibious vehicle the same truck we see in the trailer (and in the banner up top?) or is it different? It's really difficult to get 2 people to sit in both chairs (you need to put one arm up on one of them to make it fit) but I've managed to get Mutt and Marion in the front and Indy standing behind them.

I'm waiting until I see the film before deciding on the new sets, because I don't want to be lumbered with sets for a movie I don't like.

Marketers banking on the new Indiana Jones movie are using Lego products to draw younger fans. A similar promotion worked well for Lego after the revival of the Star Wars film series.

I wonder how much stuff changed from the early drafts of the script? Most licensed LEGO sets are pretty close to the movie scenes the depict.

But these KOCS sets take some pretty big liberties (or things were changed in the script along the way - there's apparently a year lead time on LEGO sets)

River Chase;

In a terrific vehicle chase, Indiana Jones? and his team attempt a daring river escape in an amphibious vehicle built to travel on both water and land! But the soldiers have a boat of their own, and they?re in hot pursuit. Look out for the net trap, the snapping crocodile and snakes!

* Includes Indiana Jones with hat, whip and bag, Marion Ravenwood? and two Russian Guard? minifigures!
* Watch out for the soldier hidden in the tree!
* Drop the net from the tree!
* Vehicle measures 6" (15cm) long!

OK, so the amphibious vehicle is fine, but the russian sniper with net in the tree, inflatable boat, snakes and crocodile?

Strange russian vehicle in the temple set. Caterpillar tracks?

The only such plane seen was a silver/grey & blue Pan American Airlines one. This comes with russian jeep (that should have been with the river chase set, I reckon). Also a baggage tractor, russians, Spalko etc.

All the sets with Spalko also have this odd sword rack (back right), even though all the swords in the film came in a box/case.

These sets are great. I was trying to get all the SW LEGO sets, but those have gotten really expensive. I'm going to stick with this line and I can't wait for the Brickmaster exclusive. So far I've got half of the sets and I really can't wait to get the video game.
