San Joaquin, CA Invitation to: ACS Relay for Life Charity Event 6/26

Ok it is that time of year again for OCSWS, and our big yearly charity drive for the American Cancer Society. So we would like to invite you all to come out and support us in our efforts.

Date: Sat. 6/26 - Sun. 6/27

Time: 10am - 10am (24 hrs)

Location: Fullerton High School (Football Field/Track)

Events being sponsored by OCSWS:

1. Star Wars Video game Challenge
2. Choreographed lightsaber duel - 30 min production
3. Hourly Raffles starting at 12pm
4. Padawan Training - Kids Camp activities
5. Costume / Trooping photo opportunity

I hope everyone will come out and join us again this year for our charity event. We had a blast last year and we expect to have a larger turnout this year as well from the 501st. Tim is going to be working on that end of it. So we are hoping to get around 30-40 people dressed out in costume for this event.

The Bakersfield Banthas are also helping out the Relay for Life in Bakersfield the first weekend of May. We're looking for a few good Troopers if any of your guys/gals are available.

I don't know my availability for June set in stone yet, but I'll certainly keep your event in mind!

 

Definitely too long since LosCon.. we need to go down and have some fun!

ok, With two days left until the charity event. I am trying to get head counts froum everyojne coming down. So can you let me know how man y will be joining us and if you are able to come down for this event?
